"Yala Safari Camping is such an incredible & unique experience. The tents are so nice, the staff is beyond incredible. I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. The wifi wasn’t working while I was there so they gave me a hotspot to borrow while I was staying so I could keep up with work calls and emails. "

"The room was ok, with good views of the lake, but found lots of creepy crawlies and insects in our room one inside bed, and one inside of a folded towel, the food was not that brill, we ordered prawn curry but they gave us shrimps, with watery gravy, probably ok for the locals. "

It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us.
