Pretty basic accommodation. It was all fine and the desk staff was friendly, just don’t expect anything fancy. Location is good.
Friendly and helpful staff. The location couldn’t be better. You are walking distance for what you need night market next to hotel, the MRT entrance just across the street.
Thou clean, room and whole place seems quite run down. It was also not easy to find. Strange to have a hotel in a building sharing with other establishments. Staff usually not very friendly.
The pros with this place are the location, the big space of the room, the big size of the refrigerator and that there was a big washing space area at the balcony. The elevator is spacious and you won't have to wait long for a ride.
To the cons, which sadly overshadows the above: The toilet is of an old type (such as you'd find at budget hotels in Cebu and the likes) which do not allow for flushing bathroom tissues, which is a hygienic issue. There was no shower curtain, so bathroom floor will always be wet. The aircon won't always do its tasks properly, you might got to use the extra added fan, which was noisy.
Added for the noise sensitive: The door to the corridor audible leaks all sounds that comes from there with people passing by from the 10+ other doors. If you stay at the 7th floor there's a gym above open to 9 or 10pm with sounds of heavy weights sometimes bouncing even though the ceiling is concrete.
The front desk is at 10th floor and there's no guard or anything of staff at the ground floor entrance. Perhaps only a CCTV is present. You do need a card to get from the elevator to the corridor. But some guests seems to bring in friends to their rooms, there was some disturbances one night from one of the rooms.
This is more like a hostel style kind of place, acceptable for young people and those who don't mind some noises. Tougher for older folks who likes more or less well quiet.
