There was a storm that came through just before we checked in and part of the hotel was without power. I had 2 rooms reserved, and one had power and the other 1 didn't. When I went to the front desk to ask to get 2 rooms with power. I was given some attitude, saying he didn't know which ones were which so I asked him to go check and he begrudgingly did. My new room had no ac and it was almost a 100° outside, with 80% humidity. I finally decided to just share the room that my ex-husband got so I ended up sleeping several feet away from my ex-husband because my room was unusable due to the heat. We were not offered any way to rectify the situation. And when we asked if we could cancel one room, we were told no. The room we did share was dirty. I have pictures of a dirty floss pick on the floor the sink was dirty. The bathroom only had one hinge on the door so the door didn't work properly and the light in there was out. To add to the irritation, the pool was not working, which is the one amenity that I looked for so my 11-year-old could swim on our trip. There wasn't even coffee at breakfast! Everything was subpar. I will say, the beds were comfy and seemed to be clean, but who knows? $130 to sleep 2 feet away from my ex-husband in a dirty room in a rough, rowdy area. I am disappointed and will not be returning.
