Quiet lodge in the middle of a private game reserv
The lodge is huge and also the rooms are very spaceous and nice. However, as it is in the middle of the Kalahari there are quite some insects and also very few mosquitos inside and the bed has no mosquito nets. Also no WLAN. The estate is in the middle of a private game reserve and you can go for a safari for different antilopes, giraffes and a lot of birds. The managers are very kind and helpful and provide excellent self-cooked food. It is very quiet and you have a wonderful view of the stars. Self drive with a 4WD is no problem as there are signs on every relevant turn coming from Kang. Definitely recommended as a 2-3 days stop-over on the way through Botswana or a relaxing stay in the middle of the desert.
