"What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. "Our overall experience at The Mango was quite positive. The facilities look very nice, our room was clean, staff is friendly and helpful and we had a great dinner on our last night. The only drawback was that it was noisy. When people sit in the restaurant area having a little party, it is difficult to nót be bothered by that when you have a room towards the back of the hotel. So bring your earplugs! Still a great place for backpackers."

"It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . "We stayed one night here. It was a nice upgrade from other hotels we have stayed in within Sri Lanka and for a lower price. Nice spacious bathroom, with all toiletries supplied. Nice views from the pool/restaurant area. Really enjoyed the breakfast (not included in price). Walking distance to Kandy lake. Only downside was the limited view which looked into an inside courtyard."
