「Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. 「Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. 「Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future.」

「Offers a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Located outside of town (will need to take a Tuk Tuk) but a great location for peace and quiet. Breakfast is very good/filling and dinner offers a nice selection of food which was very good. Highly recommend.」
