Outstanding! With one caution.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast! Funky but tasteful decor -- real personality to the hotel. Great location in downtown Kampot. Did booked here for a second night. Would be my first choice again. One caution: the stairs in this building might present an accessibility challenge for older adults or people with injuries. So if you need wheelchair access or strongly prefer an elevator (to travel only one floor), this might not be your best choice. Otherwise, can recommend whole-heartedly and do plan to repeat business here next time I am in Kampot.

Such a friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast, best we had all trip. Such friendly people. It was the highlight of our 4 weeks away.

Great staff and great restaurant!
The staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything was great except that we did not have hot water for the last two days. We should have mentioned it earlier but we thought it would be fixed but it had not so we mentioned it upon check out and I think they said they would take a look at it. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay. They also have two super cute and friendly kitties that roam around the property! Restaurant had wonderful food too.

Great stay! Very warm welcome and friendly people, felt really genuine. The decor is beautiful, unique. Comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast! Five stars all around!

Stumbled upon Old Cinema and *so* glad I did. The place is spotless, the atmosphere groovy. Owner Pauline was at the door on arrival — I knew instantly this would be a great stay. She and her staff bent over backwards to ensure our comfort. Nice pool, fun bar, excellent food, central location. Highly recommended!

Beautifully Repurposed and Decorated!
This hotel was beautifully repurposed and decorated in the city center. Rooms are comfortable, tastefully designed and unique. Service is great and the owners are amazing. Would definitely recommend spending a night here when in Kampot!

We loved everything about the hotel. Everything was done with thoughtfulness and care. What made it the most special was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Highly recommended.

Beautifully cinematic hotel stay experience.
Great little hotel conveniently located in, the restaurant makes great food, and service is excellent, run by the owners themselves. Decoration is well-done, with excellent attention to detail. Overall great stay, well-worth it.

An oasis in the city. Gorgeous immaculately clean property. Themed in art deco style. Staff is top notch- run by French couple. The breakfast is amazing with French Press coffee!!

great place!
Absolutely amazing stay here. The couple that owns/runs it are so sweet and thoughtful. The service was great. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I stayed in Double bed room but it was just me so more than adequate. It has a small balcony that is appreciated! They have larger Rooms too if that’s what you need. The location in Kampot is perfect. Food, massage, Shopping everything might need!

Very charming hotel that embraces the local style. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay and overall trip to Kampot something to remember. The food at the restaurant is excellent and the bar serves great cocktails and is sure to have a friendly crowd.

Lovely Stay
We had a great stay at the hotel. It’s a great location in Kampot and the rooms are lovely. The building is beautiful and the decor is really special. The breakfast was amazing and although we didn’t eat there the evening menu sounded great. The pool area is really lovely too. A perfect place to stay as a couple in Kampot!

L'équipe du Old cinema a fait de cet ancien cinéma des années 30, un hôtel plein de charme au coeur de Kampot en alliant une rénovation respectueuse de son histoire et une décoration soignée et personnalisée des propriétaires, qui sont aux petits soins de leurs clients (petit-déjeuner extra et conseils avisés).
