"Rooms: are nicely decorated and comfortable. Amazing designed and organized. Everything you could need for a family getaway . Staff: Great communication came during some bad weather and they kept us informed of the conditions and the room status. Pet friendly indeed: My little guy got to enjoy his vacation as well and enjoyed the views . This was the perfect Fathers Day get away . Perfect location to all the restaurants. We cannot wait to come back for another Fishing Trip and vacation."

"Rooms were very clean, staff was extremely friendly and breakfast buffet was very good, Only complaints, really low toilets in the bathrooms, I'm short with really bad knees and it was low for me, I can imagine someone tall trying to sit that low. They need to upgrade to chair height and there was no hot tub as advertised which was really disappointing."

"This is my second time here. Back to back weekends. Y'all, if you want to go to a place that feels more like going home where everyone at the end of your stay is like family to you, come here! Very safe and quiet. Great area. Lots of places to eat, although the food in the dining room is great, and the bar is great, too. Plenty of coffee and juice and a great hot breakfast. Lots of cereals and yogurts. By the end of this second stay, I knew almost all of the guests, their kids were calling me "Miss Leigh," and giving me hugs, and the adults, esp. the fellow females, were like sisters. If you want to be by yourself, you can do that, too. I am an extrovert, and I like meeting people, swapping stories, and the like. This is a gem in south Texas, for sure!"

"A lot of maintenance going on. The inside door locks did not work, but after notifying staff, maintenance was seen making repairs. Overall it was a good stay. Hats off to the breakfast cook for providing fresh, hot foods!"

"The hotel during the week was very busy with with out of town workers, was very quiet, everyone was respectful of other guests. Staff was great, we extended our stay two additional times and they were very accommodating, never got the chance to try the breakfast but overall our experience was very good, this was our 2nd time staying there and any time we will be in the area, this is where we will be staying."
