"The property was fantastic! Great amenities, great view and it was perfect and quiet. The pool temperature was ideal. The gym was a little small and the air conditioning in the room had a strange odor (like pee). Those would be my only complaints. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay again."

"Vintage Hawaiian charm and hospitality. Some renovation work taking place in the Lagoon Tower which had no impact on our stay. I hope they don’t price out the budget travelers by going upscale. Our room was clean, comfortable. Partial ocean view was much better than expected. The view and dining experience at Don the Beachcombers was superb. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. I’ve stayed here before and return for the value and Hawaiian ambience sadly missing from some of the other resorts in the area. "

"We had stayed at Kona Village many years ago before it was destroyed by a tsunami. We were excited when we heard it had reopened, but worried that it may have lost some of it's charm. We were thrilled that it is still the unique, wonderful place it always was, but a lot more luxurious. The hales are very comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms are huge and include an outdoor shower that we used every day. The staff is amazing, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed all of the dining options and only went off property to the hotel next door for one dinner. We're already trying to figure out when we can return. We can't imagine stying at any other hotel on the big island!"

"What a great hotel. Prior to checking in to Pacific 19, we stayed at a resort that was triple the price. P19 was much more cleaner than the resort. This is the first time staying at this hotel since I was a kid 25 years ago and I love what they’ve done to it. Feels like a high end boutique resort. Will definitely be staying here again. Front desk lady was very kind and welcoming. "

"Loved the property and the facilities and the personnel. It’s very windy as it is on a hill which is a plus. Wild Turkeys are wondering around which gives it more character. The only downsize it is far from Kona Kailua downtown area and there are not that many dinning options yet that’s not their fault. "
