"The most beautiful hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Sri Lanka. The pool is great, but the beach is just to die for. Miles of empty beach in both directions from the hotel. We did however notice quite a few plots being developed nearby, so this might not continue. Staff were all great and helpful. The food was amazing. "This was one of our favorite places during our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms are huge, very clean and everything seems really new. The owner is very nice and helpful and the breakfast is great with a great view of the lagoon. If you like birds we saw both eagles and peacocks during our stay here. You are around a 5 min walk from the beach and besides the restaurant on the property there are some good restaurants around."

"Lovely hotel was being repainted as we stayed just out of season. The pool and restaurant were great and the staff were very helpful. Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

"We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big). There was turndown service too which is always a nice touch. We’ll be back for sure! "
