Not a 4 stars hotel - at all.

Yes, the facade is nice (art nouveau building), yes, the room is cute, but the service inexistent (we had to ask for toilet paper) and the breakfast buffet not even closed to a 4 stars standard hotel (we bought breakfast somewhere else even though we had payed for it).

Ihana miljöö, todella kaunis hotellihuone, huonona puolena vaan se että oli todella pölyiset pinnat huoneessa, kylpyhuoneen hana aivan kalkin peitossa, ja eristeet huoneitten välissä oikeasti niin huonot et kuuli selkeästi puheet sana sanalta seinän läpi.

Nice hotel, uninterested staff

Hotel was nice, but the staff lacked service mind. We stayed 3 nights: room was not cleanded, towels not changed and toilett paper not resuplied. At breakfast you had to ask for resuply when somthing was empty, even coffee, which them took them 15 minutes to make. Staff was just hanging in the bar and looked bored. Not shure if we stay there again, but the hous was nice, so we will concider it.

Решили взять номер получше, Semi Suite, понадеялись на красивый вид на город. В итоге одно окно выходило на улочку, второе на заброшенный дом. Диван кровать оказалось старое кресло. Слышимость соседских разговоров идеальная) Грязный пол(ковёр). Порадовал вкусный завтрак.

Schönes Jugendstil Hotel in Bester Lage

Wir waren vor der Saison da und die einzigen Gäste. Sehr freundliches Peronal. Frühstück war auf die Dauer etwas eintönig, aber gut und viel. In der Hochsaison dürfte allerdings dort der Bär steppen, dann wird es wahrscheinlich laut.

Vastenmielisin hotelli jossa olen ikinä ollut. Likainen ja epäsiisti, haju huoneessa ja aulassa oli kuvottava. Aamiainen oli pohjanoteeraus. En ole ikinä saanut yhtä huonoa asiakaspalvelua missään. Hotelli ei pitänyt lupaustaan tulla hakemaan lentokentältä eikä suostunut korjaamaan rikkinäistä tallelokeroa. En suosittele tätä kenellekään, ikinä.

To meget skuffet jenter

Bestilte suite for to dager i forbindelse med jentetur. Rommet vi fikk lignet mer et dårlig dobbeltrom, i hvertfall alt annet enn en suite. Det står at det er et spahotell, men det er det absolutt ikke. Vi villle ha spabehandlig samtidig i sammen rom, men dette var det ikke mulighet fordi de hadde bare en massør. Denne massøren måtte de i tillegg ringe etter. Listen over spabehandlinger var en brøkdel av hva vi fant på nettet, så dette var også utrolig skuffende. Frokost var inkludert, og ble servert fra 09:00 til 11:00. Det er for det første veldig sent å starte en frokost, og når vi kom til frokost kl 10:00 var det meste tørt og kald, og svært lite fristende. Eneste vi fant positivt var at WiFi'en på hotellet var veldig bra, og god renslighet på rommet. Det var heller ikke mye å gjøre rundt hotellet, og ikke særlige med restauranter og handle muligheter. Det tar ca 20 min å ta taxi inn til Riga, dårlig opplysninger om annen transport muligheter, og denne taxi turen koster ca 22 euro. Vi kommer ikke til å dra tilbake til dette hotellet, og vil heller ikke anbefale dette videre til venner og bekjente. Dette hotellet minner mere om et 2-3 stjerners hotell enn 4 stjerners hotell.

Cute place with historic feel and decor. Come for that. The service is bad, as the other reviews indicate. The breakfast is good, but I would not pay for any food, spa, or service or any kind here. It is a touristy spot and cheesy and overpriced at best for those factors. Go eat somewhere else for dinner, and go to another spa, as the other reviews show.

Mysigt hotell med bra läge

Mysigt hotell i en superfin gammal byggnad. Bra läge mitt emellan stranden och huvudgatan. Trevlig personal. Superskön säng. Frukostens kvalitet varierade från dag till dag. Minus för att det inte stod var något var så man kunde få lite oväntade överraskningar. Ofta man tog något man trodde var salt som visade sig vara sött t.ex.
