The room that we stayed in needed a deep cleaning. Something had been spilled in the bathroom behind the stool that needed to be cleaned up properly. The rest of the room seemed clean enough, just a little dated in the fixtures. The exception to this was the window covering. The blackout shade was extremely nice. The outside of the property was well-maintained and retro. The morning continental breakfast was not a great experience. The food was adequate, but the coffee had a strange taste and appearance. Not sure we would pick this property again.

The hotel was just what we needed...a place to sleep after being on the road all day. It was very budget friendly, so we weren't expecting Marriot accommodations. We had clean towels, clean sheets, and hot water with great water pressure, so it met our needs.

So we can’t act like this place is the Ritz, because it’s not going to be the Ritz at these prices/location, but it’s actually super cute. The place is old, but well taken care of-the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to get new furniture in the rooms and all linens feel clean. Not a speck of dirt on the floor when walking barefoot. They have a cute little pool if you aren’t already exhausted from River Sports and it’s 2 minutes from groceries, restaurants, and the interstate. It felt safe and everyone was friendly. I would 100% stay here again, rather than the overpriced chain hotels that are nearby.
