Home away from home vibes

I received an upgrade that I was very great full for. The atmosphere is relaxed, it felt like a home away from home, which is what l look for when on a business trip.

The property needs some adjustments. The room didn’t have wash cloths. I had to ask everyday for a wash cloth. The laundry service is expensive. It would have been nice for the room to have a robe and slippers. The staff is nice and professional. Overall it was nice stay.

This hotel is in a unique location surrounded by very nice restaurants and dining options, and within a couple of blocks from Rosebank mall. Certainly will come back when visiting Johannesburg

The staff wasn't very nice except for the front desk staff. It seems they are very cold towards black americans. We were consistently ignored in the hotels restaurant and roof top bar. The hours for both the rooftop bar and restaurant are inconsistent. For two days in a row the water was shut off without any compensation for the inconvenience. The hotel is located in a very nice with tons of restaurants with amazing food.

New property in a great location walkable to mall and they have a shuttle that takes you to both malls. The rooms are quite small unless you upgrade to a suite. Priced well. Very friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar.

Radisson Red Rosebank is close to Rosebank Gautrain Station ( 5 minute walk) & Rosebank Mall & has a rooftop bar. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are modern & clean. There is a mini fridge & a small seating area, very convenient if you don’t want to sit on the bed while watching tv or enjoy drinks/food. They have great room service (food & drinks) but the rooftop bar is amazing & the food is cheap & delicious! They have delicious cocktails as well. The staff is lovely and they have a shuttle service to the mall which is great!

So loud that it was not pleasant to sit in the area and so loud that I could also hear it from my room, which was 4 floors below. Also the pool area could not be used as people were eating right next to the pool and there was nowhere to relax. Service and staff were slow

I paid for a premium suite but was placed in a junior suite despite telling them this at checkin. After my trip I wrote an email and called the hotel and was assured a manager would call me back. 6 days later, nobody has bothered to call

Shocking. Go elsewhere.

Hands down the worst hotel i have stayed in for 10+ years. Room was filthy. Dust bunnies everywhere. Everywhere. Hair all over the shower. Even after the first day of house keeping i had to clean it myself. Noise from the rooftop bar (bass and chair scraping). I sent in laundry and had it returned with labels on each item secured by 6 - 15 staples. Reception said “sorry”. I returned the laundry and insisted they remove the staples as i wasnt going to be liable for any damage. Restaurant kitchen is all shouting and screaming and service is non-existent in between the staff watching videos or having calls on speaker phone. This hotel capitalises on its location but is totally horrid. Avoid at all costs. Go to Voco, Holiday Inn or Hyatt House rather.
