OMG!! What a find. We changed our travel plans at the last minute and booked hotel for 2 nights. It was fantastic!!!!! Beautiful, safe, luxurious, friendly, spotless. Win African wildlife in the gardens and excellent bars and restaurants it could not have been better

Getaway anniversary weekend.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The food is delicious for every meal. The spa is world-class. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. The best thing about Kievits Kroon is the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our anniversary special and memorable. Whether it's a night or a weekend away, I would recommend Kievits Kroon Country Estate.

Magnificent Gardens, beautiful property, friendly reception, comfortable room, and though our booking was botched on check in, the receptionist on duty handled it very professionally and efficiently and upgraded our stay which we appreciated. Restaurant (waiter service) in the a la carte restaurant for dinner was bad and we waited an hour for our food, so training is needed here- but there were many other plus points and we will definitely stay there again in 2021

I stayed for a total of three nights. Overall was a good experience. The conferencing staff are very helpful and the other staff as well. There were however, marks on the carpet in the room. And the staff completely forgot about turn down service on one of the evenings. When I tried to contact reception that evening, there was no answer. The blind in the room was opened incorrectly by housekeeping staff and subsequently got stuck and the not closed during turn down service that evening.So I had to call reception to get maintenance to come and close the blind. Wifi signal to rooms are also not great. Had to go to reception just to send an email.

Just a quick relaxing break in a beautiful setting

With Check-in there was some confusion as they were not aware of my booking. However, the ladies handled it professionally and made a plan quickly. We only stayed for one night but wow it was just what we needed. We relaxed by the pool during the day and later had a very nice buffet dinner. We had the luxury room and it was nice in size, good in comfort and the location was beautiful. We really had a wonderful stay and will return for a longer visit!

Best getaway experience in Pretoria!

What an amazing stay! Friendly and efficient staff! Relaxation central! This is the best idea for a couples getaway! Definitely worth the price! Next time I will ask for package deals where I’ll save on treatments and accommodation. Next time I’m bringing friends along for lunch just to experience the Cape Franschhoek style venue.

Room was fine but outside porch was dirty and building was cracked. Aircon made a lot of noise. Also the dinner was a problem, only delivered after 23:00 (ordered just after 20:00). Broken amenities in room.

The hotel is beautiful and relaxing. Problem is in the 2 days we spend time at the pool there were NO waiters attending to the area. Everytime you have to ask at the bar to order food and drink and then you wait almost an hour. it is ridiculous service for a 4star establishment. The waiters are not friendly or understanding of the menu at all. We didn't feel like its a pampered special relaxing day out like we expected. It's disappointing. I will rather go to The Palazzo hotel in future where service at the pool is prompt and friendly. Breakfast was also overcooked. I didn't enjoy it at all. The spa is nice and the venues are beautiful

Gate security didn’t know where to send us? Check in at reception once we found it was great. Our safe did not work and even after numerous requests, it was not sorted. When someone came to try and fix and couldn’t, we were told to dial 9 for reception and notify them again. To which we replied on what telephone?? There wasn’t even a phone in our room!! Bed was hard, the shower has moss growing down from the ceiling The gardens and settings are amazing but the pool service was non existent! I had to go and find someone. When eventually they came, they were grumpy! The Spa redeemed the experience as it was amazing. Spa facilities are great and the staff were fantastic. Our second night at the restaurant was also much better than the first as we asked to speak to the chef and he was very obliging and cooked a fillet that was out of this world. Unfortunately, not sure we would go stay there again but would definitely go back to the Spa.

for the price one would expect a little bit more. The room we had was ok ….the aircon when switched on dripped constantly (should be checked out room no.14). Missed little things like cotton wool & earbuds... breakfast was good...buffet dinner expensive but tasty...bar service restaurant very slow. 1st class estate being run by 3rd class employees

First class estate being run by 3 rd class employees. The exit procedure when you want to leave the grounds by car is exhausting. You have to show ID , it must be scanned , car scanned and boot of car must be opened to make sure you aren’t taking any belongings from the Hotel. Waiters loud and on a cloud. Staff uniforms too tight, dirty and many torn for the same reason. Uniforms outdated! The employees are hot in those uniforms and they must be changed into something more casual and classy. Their performance has everything to do with the fact that they are too hot and many of them bursting at the seams.

The Spa here was EXCELLENT. This is a great place to stay if visiting Pretoria and surrounds. Security is great, large beautiful grounds and excellent accommodation. The restaurants offer good food (and wine) and the pools are lovely. Try to book a picnic as it is a fantastic experience.

There was an attempted robbery whist i was sleeping which was completely unacceptable. I expect the hotel to cater for my security and safety. Also the way that the hotel reacted and responded to this issue was very disappointing.
