I must same it’s a beautiful place to stay. Has a nice and serene atmosphere with a cozy vibe. If you want a place like home choose Claires of Sandton luxury Guest House. It’s also closer to the American embassy, Mandela Square and the Sandton Mall. I love it here and I know everyone will share the same experience. I will give a 5 star Rating every time

The room was in a good condition, though smaller than I anticipated. The welcome was certainly less than ideal. I was told the common area was off limits so I was confined to my room the first day I was there.

One not to be missed.

Amazing little guest house tucked away of a main thoroughfare and close to a great shopping mall. Welcome was friendly and informative and breakfast was delicious, we stayed two nights and would have been happy to stay longer, if we are ever back in Johannesburg we would definitely return. Rooms large and well appointed as was the spacious bathroom, as we stayed in winter, (July) the under floor heating in the bathroom was especially welcome. Great little find, well priced and very comfortable.

Guesthouse that makes you feel at home

Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, the room is clean and confortable. The guesthouse is located in a nice area of Johanesburg but there is no public transportation around. However, uber worked out pretty well for us.

Lovely homestay kind of place

We stayed twice at this hotel/lodge and our experience was first class.All of the staff are very helpful and the management again first class. The rooms were very good ,breakfast excellent,good parking and wifi, You are minutes from Sandton. I would stay again and would recommend.

I couldn't have been happier with claires..extraor

This is my second stay at Claires. Both times I was so catered...felt like queen for a day. Lively setting with attention to details. Breakfast is sumptuous. I had much help with arranging tours and transport. Claire and her staff are wonderful people. This level of service and comfort is above most others. I plan to go back for another week.

Nice B&B in/near Sandton

A very cozy and extremely well maintained and well presented small hotel / B&B in the Sandton area. We stayed for one night and spent a day relaxing by the lovely pool after enjoying a very good breakfast from an unusually generous menu. Definitely recommendable.

What a GLORIOUS PLACE...

This was my first trip to South Africa and I was a woman travelling alone. I emailed Chantal prior to my visit to arrange transportation, weather, and other things...REsponse was fast and complete.On arrival, I was greeted in the evening time and oriented to my room. Everything during my stay was OUTSTANDING and I am an experienced world traveller. Tours were arranged for me, breakfast was leisurely and delicious, and the rooms were lovely and very clean. All the grounds were just amazing and so very relaxing ....not to mention safe. The neighborhood was very nice and you could walk to some nice restaurants and stores. I would recommend Claire's to everyone and consider you fortunate if you stay there.
