Ideally situated. Doesn’t appear to have been built as a hotel so passages are more office-looking corridors. Staff are unbelievable the service is of the highest standards

Great location and felt very safe.

Very safe place to stay in Sandton. It's a short walk to the shops, Nelson Mandela square and good restaurants. The pool is tiny but still good in the heat. The coffee spot in reception was great. It's great for young people but not really designed for young families.

Although the rooms are clean neat, there are a few attention to details missing. Shower Shampoo dispenser not working. ( luckily we had our own.). No space for haging your towels, face clothes, recommended hangets hooks behind the bathroom room door. Door leading towards the patio, no key to lock. We asked and we told they never locked those door, which is strange because we now were forced to sleep with unlock back door. Although property looks safe.

The property is nice and clean. As a traveling guest with luggage, the only way to get to the front desk is by stairs. Due to the hotel being an apartment/hotel there’s no one to assist you with your luggage

Great room. Great beds. Couch could work better with a single couch. Shower didn't flow so water overflowed. Curtains don't allow the room to be super dark and audio from reception and restaurant patrons is not well insulated

I had a phenomenal time. From the moment i arrived a beautiful lady chrcked me in an upgraded me to a room with a balcony. I loced it. Later on a young lady got me a remote for my television and airconditioning unit. House keeping was exceptional. Once i am in Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦 my home will be Black Brick hotel 2.

The hotel was quite nice, it appeared very new. There were a few things missing. For instance, there was nothing to be able to cook with though they provided a stove/oven. There were also no hooks for towels, so we had to hang them overtop the shower. The smart TV didn’t connect to our phones, so it wasn’t the type of smart TV we’re used to. People at reception were friendly, but contacting over WhatsApp wasn’t very helpful. Cleaning comes once a day and if you miss it, you’re out of luck. We did a late checkout for an additional R400, and we had people come to our room twice asking us to check out when we had confirmed twice the day before. The hotel has definitely 4-5 star potential, but there is attention to detail missing. The bed and aircon were very nice. Would have liked a fan and also an iron/ironing board.

We have stayed at black brick 1 and wanted to compare with black brick 2. From room keys not working 2/3 nights, to having noisy parties next door 2 nights in a row. I would say pick something else. I could talk about the "pool" that is really kid sized and breakfasts that needs improvement but why bother. The security guards are not friendly or helpful, which was disappointing.For the remainder of our stay we booked elsewhere. We did like how clean the place was and the inside staff were very professional. Id stay at black brick 1 again but not black brick 2. The breakfast, parking, rooms, security and general layout of black brick 1 is better
