Best hotel in the Holy Land!

The breakfast buffet is huge! And the selection was way better then the holiday inn also it’s 5 minutes walk from quds and in the Muslim quarter area! Very friendly Christian PALESTINE staff! And Muslim staff as well! The locals all get all long! And we had the best time clean rooms and very friendly they even hold your luggage for you when you check out if you want to see more sites and shop! Their driving service is $100 usd to the airport but it’s better then share ride because the driver was gentle! Loved it!

Close to old city, clean hotel with friendly staff

Wonderful stay in a clean hotel, very close to the old city sites. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Nice hotel, loud nights, poor breakfast

The hotel is located within Eastern Jerusalem, very close to the old city Muslim quarter and about a 30 minute walk to the main central strip. The staff at reception were very friendly and informative upon arrival and the restaurant staff were nice despite not speaking much if any English. With a nice and delicious selection of Palestinian food at the restaurant the same can't be said for the continental breakfast which was bland and boring. The rooms were spacious and comfortable although due to a squeaking lift wheel and ignorantly loud guests banging on their room doors at early hours of the morning it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. All in all a nice hotel that is let down by the noise quality at night and the poor breakfast.

It was the best experience I ever had the view of masjid aqsa was the best from room 322 and the breakfast was great a chef cooking egg for you and the mosque only 5 mins away from herads gate walk overall I will come again to this hotel

Pleasant stay

Couldn't really fault the hotel - very clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is situated in the Muslim quarter, 10 minutes' walk from the old city of Jerusalem (very convenient for Mt of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Western Wall etc). The surrounding area/streets a little run down but that didn't matter because within just a few minutes' walk you are at the Herod's Gate/old town. Guests generally Muslim but they welcome people of all faiths - staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast staff very friendly and attentive. Great view of the old city from the roof-top cafe.

Hotell nært til Herodes og Damaskusporte.

Dette hotellet ligger i den muslimske delen av Jerusalem, og selv om det er godt og rent på hotellet er det en del søppel i gatene. Jeg bodde i andre etasje på hotellet, der var det en svært god og hyggelig vaskedame som vi snakket veldig godt med. Anbefaller hotellet for de som vil ligge nærme gamlebyen i Jerusalem og ikke er så nøye på hvilket område det ligger i.

Csendes hotel az óváros árnyékában,nevezetességgel

Ez a szállás egy igazán költséghatékony szállás volt. A reggeli finom volt. Minden reggel és minden este gyönyörködtem a csodálatos panorámában, az erkélyemről az arany kupolára láttam rá. A panoráma teraszról a látvány lélegzet elállító volt. Még a kávé is jobban esett. Egyszerű berendezésű (inkább minimál stílusú) volt, de tiszta, élhető. A személyzet segítőkész volt. Fontos volt nekem, hogy erkély legyen a szobához, de foglalásnál elrontottam valamit, behúztam, hogy nem dohányzós helyiség érdekel. Ténylegesen dohányzom, de csak ott ahol lehet vagy ki van jelölve. Később kiderült, erkély a dohányosok szobájához jár. Miután megkaptam a szobát erkély nélkül, csalódott voltam. A recepción azonban mindenki segített, hogy megoldjuk a problémámat. Nem kellett rá sem fizetnem, kaptam egy csodálatos szobát panorámával a nevezetességre és lett erkélyem, ahol egy finom pohár bor mellett még dohányozhattam is. A szállás a Herodes és a Damascusi kapu között található, egy lépésre az óváros falától a Kelet-Jeruzsálemben. Jó szívvel ajánlom!

Excellent location for Old City

Close to Herod's Gate and staff very helpful. We had a leak in the bathroom. We told one of the room maids on our way to breakfast and when we came back it was fixed. You don't get that responsiveness in many hotels. Breakfast was nothing special but more than adequate. You may find fancier hotels but probably not in such a great location for exploring the old city.

Quaint Hotel; Highly Recommend

This is an adorable hotel that is within walking distance of the Herod's Gate entrance to Jerusalem. The staff was helpful and breakfast included a lot of variety. The rooftop bar also gave a beautiful view and was delightful. The room had a cute balcony and our stay was great.
