"Great hotel for exploring the southern half of Manhattan if you need to save money on Manhattan hotel prices.
Bus: Take the 320 bus, the bus stop is right across the street. It will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan on 42nd Street. The ride cost $4.95 each way and is around 30 minutes at almost all times except when there's no traffic late at night, then it's 15 minutes. From the Port Authority, you can easily transfer to subway trains to go all over Manhattan (the subway cost $3 each time). Times Square is a 15-minute walk from the Port Authority. To return to the hotel, go to gate 314 at the Port Authority, that's where the 320 bus will be (until 1am, then it goes to gate 85? downstairs, I forget). Using tap to pay with my credit card worked for every bus ride except once it wasn't working for some reason, the driver wouldn't accept cash either, I had to get a ticket at the machines, and the driver didn't wait for me (I forgot to even ask) so I missed that bus.
Parking: free and easy, they have a garage, I think the construction that interfered with parking that other reviewers mentioned must be finished now.
Breakfast: free and solid, they had trays of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, oatmeal, and a make your own omelet station. Also, the Carnegie diner is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and is good but expensive.
Room: cleanliness was good, there was a mini fridge and microwave despite what was listed on Expedia"
