The hotel is up-to-date and well maintained. Our room was comfortable and had nice bathroom and shower facilities. The room was outfitted with a small refrigerator, microwave, and Nespresso machine—bonus points for this nicety! Even though we were told the room would only be serviced once during our three-night stay, it was cleaned every day. The hotel is on the north west end of Jeju, and the closest town is the charming yet unassuming village of Aewol. It’s not exactly lively but suited us well. The nightly rate was excellent value for the quality of the facility and service.

The room and the whole property was super aesthetic. It was like a little modern beach village. The view from the room also looks out to the water which was very nice and the location was close to all the major cafes in aewol. The hotel is also located along the coast which is a nice walk and view as you walk/drive along. The room itself was very modern with stone style walls and flooring. The room was also very spacious. Unfortunately there is no elevators and we were on the 3rd floor which required us to carry our heavy luggage up three flights of stairs. The room also wasn’t fully equipped with amenities compared to other hotel stays we have been too. This one did not have a iron/steamer in the room, it did not have face wipes or qtips. But they do restock water bottles for you and towels and there is a fridge and tv which we used quite frequently. The bathroom has a very nice tub which we used. It did take sometime to fill up but overall relaxing. Unfortunately the rainfall shower head did not work well and was difficult to turn the knob to activate so we only used the hand held shower head. We enjoyed our stay but we will likely explore other hotels within the area for next time.

객실 입구부터 기계실 문이 열려있어 뭔가 지저분하고 관리 안되는 느낌이었어요. 좀 무섭기도 하고... 현관 들어서니 나는 쾌쾌한 냄새에 첫인상이 별로... 풀빌라라 벌레는 마음의 준비를 하긴 했지만 침대에서 지네 한마리 잡고... 화장실 등 곳곳에서 벌레를 잡아야했어요. 관리만 잘된다면 괜찮은 곳이건만 안타까워요.

관리가 좀 안되는게 안타깝네요.

장점: 애월이라 위치가 좋아요, 풀빌라 풀이 깊고 넓은편이예요, 침대가 넓고 넷플릭스 시청 가능해요. 단점: 청소 상태와 시설 관리가 부족해보여요(냄새) 풀장 바닥이 청소가 안되는지 너무 미끄러워 낙상주의, 가족 아니면 아주 불편한 오픈된 화장실과 샤워실 구조 여름이고 야외 풀빌라인지라 지네, 거미, 개구리, 귀뚜라미 등등 많은 자연체험을 감수해야 하지만 관리만 조금 잘된다면 아주 좋은 곳입니다.

애월 바다가 보이는 아늑한 리조트

저희는 가장 안쪽에 위치한 호텔 오션뷰였습니다. 짐이 별로 없어서 계단으로 올라가는데 무리는 없었어요. 넓은 거실과, 분리된 느낌의 침실이 사진 그대로 깔끔했습니다. 욕실도 럭셔리했어요. 호텔 바로앞에도 올레길코스, 여러 식당이 있어서 편리했습니다. 다음엔 풀빌라에도 한번 묵어보고 싶네요
