It was clean and comfortable but no drink making facilities which is a pretty normal basic. It is a pain to have to go out and buy every drink from the bar especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Plus the towels were really small

A cheap alternative with good connections

Cheap, but the cheap room is too cramoed for a couple. The restaurant is somewhat dull but the kitchen was good. I may book there again.

This was my third business stay at this hotel. The service is good, food is good and the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful, located in a nice suburban area. The spa is one of the best! However, no coffee machine in the room:(, available though in the hotel restaurant any time. 15-20 minutes on commuter rail to the city center, no problem. But, on my way back to the airport, luckily found out on time, that the train service was suspended at Barkardy station, because of repair works. Had to book a taxi service last minute. Will recommend Welcome Hotel to others. Just keep in mind it's not a 5 star hotel, and not in the city center.

The room was extremely hot despite only 22-24 degrees outside temperature. Even the open window and the provided fan were a weak solution, and I was sweating the whole night. Due to the highway being very close to the hotel sleeping with an open window was not very comfortable because of the noise. The breakfast was average but acceptable.

Overall, we had a nice stay at Welcome Hotel. Reception staff was very nice and service minded. We arrived at the hotel around midnight and struggled to get in as the sliding doors were switched off. We knocked on the door but the reception was packed with people drinking and having a good time so no one heard or saw us. We eventually got in and it felt like we had arrived at a youth hostel. The receptionist apologised for the noise and confusion and we got our room quickly. Breakfast on weekdays finish at 9.30am, which is too early. They seem to aim towards business customers on weekdays and spa clients at the weekend.
