The Oaks was wonderful!

We had a wonderful experience. We booked online last minute and felt very welcomed. The bed was super comfy the house was extremely quiet and the bathroom had everything we needed. We enjoyed a great breakfast before we left the next day. Would definitely stay here again.

If you're looking for a warm and friendly staff, this is not the place to stay. The house was okay. Bathroom had no AC and was quite uncomfortable as it was a separate room from the bedroom. Breakfast was okay and cook was friendly. Asked for extra towels twice and never received them. Wasn't the worst place, but will look for other accomadations next time.

I have contacted the owner directly about the room which was given me. It was pretty awful as well as the bathroom I was assigned..Bathroom with no hot water and clogged sink and bedroom with many "quirks" such as lamps that don't light making it hard to find bed in the dark, "sitting room" very small and I felt dingy and I put towel on sofa before sitting on it. Outside keypad had no light making it impossible to see numbers on Keypad. I mentioned to owner that the room needs painted as it is drab... However, food was good and Josh a good host. IAfter I got over initial shock of such a weird room, I had to laugh and chalk it up to one weird adventure. Probably not in my future for lodgingadventurwpad
