Loved the pool, garden & super-relaxed environment

Lovely place to stay. Room was basic but clean and cool. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area and garden are just pefect, especially the part under the palm trees.

Hyggeligt lille hotel, som ligger mellem Jambiani og Paje. Service og rengøring på hotellet var helt i top. Morgenmaden er rigtig god, men resten af menukortet halter lidt. Vi valgte istedet at spise på de omkringliggende hoteller. Stranden har mange sten og tang, så det var rigtig godt at have en pool.

Le rêve.

Nous avons séjourné 19 jours pour y passer nos vacances d'été et visiter l'île d'Unguja. Prestations de qualité avec un accueil personnalisé par Goodluck ( manager ) accompagné d'un cocktail de bienvenue. Des petits déjeuner copieux et variés compris dans le prix ( assortiment de crêpes, gâteaux, pain ainsi que des fruits et jus de fruits frais tous les matins ). Des repas excellents ( préparés par Hemed, le Chef...) avec du poisson frais ( ah, le fameux king fish, j'y pense encore... ) servi à table et uniquement avec des accompagnements frais ( ici, on ne connaît pas le surgelé ) d'où une attente d'1h environ. Les serveurs Hery et Juventus sont géniaux ( accueil souriant, toujours disponible et serviable ). Les chambres sont nettoyées et le linge changé tous les jours ( les différentes présentations originales quotidiennes des draps était un régal pour nos yeux, merci encore à Mary pour la qualité de son travail et de sa conscience professionnelle ). Hôtel situé à 40 min à pied de Paje et 20 min de Jambiani. Des excusions privatives sont proposées par l'hôtel et sont d'un rapport qualité/prix imbattable comparé aux beach boys. Elles sont à faire pour avoir une idée des différents aspects de l'île ( culture, découverte, histoire, rencontres et richesse ) que de sa beauté. Nous recommandons donc fortement cet hôtel surtout si vous êtes à la quête de bonheur, calme, repos servis par un personnel irréprochable et une vue exceptionelle. On y retournera sans hésitation :)

Piscine bienvenue lorsque la marée est basse.

Séjour agréable et reposant après une semaine intense de safari dans les parcs de Tanzanie. Petite structure donc pas trop de monde et pas trop de bruit. La plage est privée, on n'est pas harcelé par les beach boys qui proposent souvenirs ou excusions. La piscine est bien entretenue et bienvenue lorsque la mer s'est retirée. Les abords très fleuris sont agréables. N'hésitez pas à vous promener sur la plage, au nord vers Paje ou au sud vers le village de Jambiani. Le personnel est fort sympathique et les cocktails bien servis !

Excellent family run hotel on the beach.

great stay with the staff and facilities excellent and the location right on the beach. Breakfast was good and they have a basic menu for lunch and evenings, although it does take time to order and arrive. A great little family run hotel at a reasonable price.
