Gorgeous rooms, great rooftop restaurant

The rooms are incredible, with carved stone walls and Aladdin-like windows. Owners are fantastic too. They took my family to a private wedding, on a shopping trip to the market, and arranged our camel safari. Their rooftop restaurant at the Shahi Palace is great too. No clean towels provided, but a small oversight in the bigger picture. We're very happy with our stay, and would definitely come back.

Everything seems to be quite good, location, the comfort of the bed, the people working there, as well as jaisalmer is a great town to visit with such close distance to desert.

Le descriptif des chambres ne correspond pas à la réalité, ni les photos. Vraiment très déçu, d'autant que le propriétaire l'a reconnu mais n'a fait aucun geste d'arrangement. J'ai fini dans une petite chambre sale, et sans fenêtre alors que j'avais réservé une chambre plutôt spacieuse et avec vue sur la colline. A éviter, Jaisalmer regorge d'hôtels.

위치는 성 바깥쪽에 있어서 성안에 머무르고 싶으신 분들에게는 별로입니다. 대신 버스터미널은 가깝습니다. 그리고 rooftop레스토랑에서는 성이 잘 보입니다. 전반적으로 조용하고 더운 물도 잘 나오고 와이파이도 잘 되는 편입니다. 호텔에서 낙타사라피(one night) 예약했더니 사파리 다녀와서 씻고 조금 쉴 수 있게 해주었습니다. 그리고 아래는 저희가 겪은 에피소드 하나 적습니다. 저희는 자이살메르에 새벽에 도착하게 되어서 호텔에 가방만 맡기고 호텔rooftop레스토랑에 올라가서 차마시고 책보며 시간보내다가 11시에 체크인이라고 되어 있어서 11시 좀 전에 카운터에 가서 확인했더니 서류 작성하고 방을 안내해주더라구요, 요기 사장님이 호텔이 총 4개라며, 저희는 다른 건물로 따라 갔습니다. 저희는 일행이 4명이어서 방2개를 예약했는데 방하나는 청소를 막 시작하려는 참이였고, 다른방 하나는 아직 비어 있지도 않더라구요, 확인해달라고 했더니, 청소는 10분이면 끝난다네요. 10분에 끝내는 청소가 어떨지 상상에 맡기겠습니다 그리고 문제는 또 다른 방, 객실문을 잠궈놓고 나간상태라는 군요,,, 그 손님이 아직 안나갔다며,, 연락이 안된다는 겁니다. 어쩌라는 건가요?? 밖에서 잠시 기다리다 카운터로 가서 얘기했습니다. 우리가 예약한 방은 2개 모두 스탠다드 룸인데 대신 하나를 디럭스로 바꾸어 준것이니, 기다리라는 겁니다. 원래 인도분들은 미안하다는 말은 잘 안하는 것 같습니다. 그러면서 no problem!! 이랍니다. 그래서 우리는 디럭스로 바꿔달라고 얘기안했으니, 우리가 예약한 방으로 빨리 방을 달라고 했습니다. 저희는 빨리 씻고 성 관광가려던 참이였거든요, 암튼, 직원과 또 다시 통화를 하더니 다 됐다며 가도 된다고,,, 갔더니, 한 방은 대충 청소를 끝냈더군요, 잠겨있는 방은 여전하고, 대신 다른 방을 준다며, 봤더니, 그 방도 이제 막 나갔고, 이제 청소를 하려는 겁니다. 또 10분이면 된다고 ㅠㅠ 또 다시 카운터를 갔습니다. 또 얘기했더니, 방 두개를 모두 디럭스로 바꿔준 것이니, 괜찮다는 식,,,, 우리는 no problem아니다, 여행객들에게 시간이 얼마나 중요한 건데,, 어떠케 할거냐 해도,,, 별 반응없고, 방 다 되었으니, 방에 가도 된다는 겁니다. 정말 화가 났습니다. 이래 저래 왔다갔다 싸우고 12시 15분?20분? 쯤에야 방에 들어갈 수 있었습니다. 낙타사파리 예약할 때는 정말 친절하게 설명해주고 하더니, 컴플레인 거니, 대응하는 방식이 너무 맘에 안들고 화가 났습니다. 저희는 그렇게 체크인하는데만 1시간 반 정도 소비하고서야 방에 들어갈 수 있었습니다. 작은 에피소드일 수 있지만, 참고하시라고 자세히 적었습니다. 대신 디럭스방이여서 넓어서 좋았습니다.
