Nice choice to stay in Jaipur

Palace decorations are amazing. The buffet breakfasts are rich and excellent. It was nice to have pickup service in train station even though we had train delay and arrived at around 2 a.m.

Unique and Clean

We are a family of 2 adults and two teenages of 14 and11 years old. The hotel can provide a spaceous room with 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed and another sofa fit for my younger girl. The sitting room can let us chat and a balcony where we can reach the sun. The hotel decoration are unique and nice with full taste of India. Clean envrionment and prompt service though the reception is quite busy sometimes. Breakfast is quite fine with Indian and western food for different needs. Our family is happy to stay there with pleased memory.

Our recent two-night stay at Umaid Bhawan was satisfactory overall. While we appreciated the pleasant ambiance and friendly staff, two areas impacted our experience: room maintenance and food quality. Upon arrival, our room had a strong smoke odor. Additionally, the shower gel dispensers were empty and remained unfilled even after we requested a refill at reception on our first day, eventually receiving small soap containers after a follow-up. The food, particularly the Rajasthani dishes we ordered, was average and did not meet our expectations for local cuisine.

This hotel is very outdated and the area is horrible. Is a cult the sac and to get there is very hard because there’s many cars around and the traffic gets stuck. The breakfast is ok and the restaurant is ok the room smells like humidity and the pool is very small. We just looked at it from the room. We found out it was a hunting lodge and then it made sense because the architecture is like a labyrinth. We stayed for one night only and then left to another hotel. For the same money and a little more you can get a far better hotel in Jaipur. Someone recommended this hotel to us, it was a mistake to go. The hotel is not very good. I wish I knew. It was a bad recommendation

Really lovely heritage hotel loved by us and our two adult children: Luxurious beds; Fabulous breakfast (Indian buffet but with Plenty of lovely verandahs to sit and chat / chill... Royal Suite is spectacular. 4km from city centre (so quieter / less chaotic and only a 2-3 EUR tuktuk ride to the "action"). This was our first stop in India and a real delight to "ease in gently". Had we not wanted to see more of Rajastan, we may very well have stayed longer...

Charming Heritage Hotel with Room for Service Impr

This is a beautiful heritage hotel that I can truly recommend. The architecture, ambiance, and overall atmosphere are lovely — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of history. We only stayed one night, but I easily could’ve stayed longer if we’d had more time. Unfortunately, due to thunderstorms, we didn’t get a chance to try the pool. The experience overall was good, but service brought it down slightly. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and while the setting was nice, I was served grilled chicken that was half raw. Initially, I was told I would only get a 50% reduction since I had eaten a few bites, but in the end they agreed to waive the dish. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it could have been handled more professionally. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but again, the ambience of the property makes up for a lot. It’s a peaceful and memorable place to stay — and despite the hiccups, I warmly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something with charm and character.

Uniquely stylish rooms which are clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast and dinner. The service was great and always with a smile from our preferred waiter Khet. Clean swimming pool area. Would recommend this hotel!
