Rooms clean and modern with new appliances and counter tops!!! Washer and dryers were an absolute plus! The bed was stiffer than our liking however the quality of the included breakfast made up for it. Options were plentiful and the quality was super. Staff was kind and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend!

This was our second time staying here and the staff, property and food are excellent. My only disappointments were that the ice maker on our fridge was not working and when my partner asked at the front desk if there was an ice machine on site we were told there wasn't. I definitely suggest having an ice machine on site. My second suggestion is it would be nice if there was a few more meat options on the breakfast menu. Even though there are those two issues, we will definitely stay here again.

We like the hotel and the staff. It’s an older facility, but for the area it was very nice and convenient. It was not an issue for us, however, parking was across the street overall we enjoyed this facility.

Oceano was simply amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful, the included breakfast was jaw-dropping, the room was extremely clean, and the pool was beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend Oceano for anyone traveling to Jaco. We also booked our waterfall tour out of the hotel lobby with VIP Concierge Tours and it was a half-day of climbing 10 waterfalls. All-in-all, a fantadtic trip with a great hotel. Oh! And happy hour is buy one get two all mixed drinks...a win win x2!

Was so pleased with my stay! AC was very powerful, had a beautiful view of the mountains. The complimentary breakfast was actually restaurant quality and you can choose a different one (there were maybe 8 options or so). Very walkable, few mins from the main strip, close to the beach. Would definitely come back :)

Very nice place n friendly staff. Several light bulbs in the staircase were not working which, at night, made it unsafe and unnecessary given such an easy fix. Please replace the bulbs.

The hotel is very nice and clean, has plenty of parking, the rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are very nicely design for convinience. The only reason I would not stay in this hotel again is because there are many cheap motels around it, drunk people laying on the streets and people half way naked. The beach is nice, but trashy. This is a very nice hotel in a very bad area. I traveled with my wife and our 3 sons and we didn't like the area for our kids. Also the management is very professional, when I expressed my concerns they immediately offered to refund me for 2 day and pay for 2. I think that is great professional ethics. If you like to party, this would be a great place for you.

Property was neat and clean. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was included and there were several typical Costa Rican choices. Family friendly location, however, the balcony rooms overlooking the pool can be a little on the loud side. Only thing that needs improvement is the shower design, if your not careful the water runs out on the floor, hence a flood.

when I booked the place, i was expecting one room but this hotel had two rooms, more like a small condo with kitchen, appliances and utensils, full fridge. All the items were working and good quality. Overall, very pleased with the place. The staff is very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable in every possible way.

Had a great time. 5 of us were in the family suite. Full kitchen, Laundry, 2 bedrooms. We were able to walk to the Main Street for shops, food and beach. We booked all of our adventures through Manfred and Franklin with VIP Concierge right at the hotel.

The property itself is nice, rooms are decent, need a few updates on the applicances if you have a kitchenette. A bit of a walk to downtown/beach. NOTE if you book through Expedia, be aware that you pay a deposit and should you need to change or cancel your reservation for any reason the refund is issued by the hotel, not Expedia and good luck getting it back even though it says free cancellation! Still waiting, been almost 2 months! For this reason, I would not recommend this hotel.

I like this property because the room was spacious, had washer and dryer, my husband and daughter loved their massages was very relaxing and it’s close to Jaco beach. Another plus was since this was our last stop before the airport they had late check out.

This property has the potential to be awesome. However, the staff and people around it are not. We had to extend our stay several times from a two day stay to ending up staying here six days and they will not allow me to edit my guest list and after that, they started serving us for room service in smaller portions, and are completely unreceptive and rude to us all along the way nothing like any other luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Loke the 4 season or delano in las vegas or atlantis in the bahamas. I have never seen so much prejudice and rude behavior that is accepted by staff at a hotel Also, they made it seem like it was a big favor to keep us in the room. I was already in even though I get an upgrade automatically through the Expedia program so they have not done me any favors. They’ve done nothing but been a disservice to us caused issues prevented my babysitter from coming upstairs, so I can go to work on time, making my work trip extremely exhausting & complete nightmare.

We are a family oriented hotel and host many families with babies and their sitters. The girl you wanted to bring in was not the one. Stephanie you have extended your stay because you liked the property, it is a pity that now you are trashing us because your father was not permitted to bring in a random person from the street.

I liked having a suite w/ a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer for laundry. It felt like it was my own apartment. Staff refreshes room every day unless informed to not disturb. Very quick & courteous service. Also the cost was very reasonable. 10/10 would stay here again!

awesome safe fun property with reasonable on site resturant. great breakfast included. my kids loved the pool and so did i. it wasnt too crowded for being high season. staff was helpful ajd anwsered any questions. ended up extending our stay for a few more days due to the friendliness. here

Liked: included breakfast, pool area was nice, happy hour 2-for-1, room size was good. Concierge service was also convenient, although there were some miscommunications. Disliked: room could’ve been cleaner, breakfast hours did not cater to morning excursion times, proximity to beach (10-15 minute walk), staff could’ve been friendlier in general. Lastly, the pool chairs regularly had bird poop on them, but didn’t seem to ever be cleaned.

Very modern and well maintained property. Quiet pool view facing east, so cool shady balcony in the afternoon. Front desk and Concierge very helpful and polite. Pool area was clean with lots of shade.

This is a family friendly hotel which is nice especially with the nearby conditions. For a single guy traveling this is not the ideal hotel for you and the boys. If you have a family and want to keep them safe and entertained than this is the hotel for you.
