Rooms are big and comfortable the staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast variety. Stayed for a week with my family and loved it. Beach is walking distance, skate park, shopping. The best is next door Carolyns breakfast restaurant very convenient and delicious

Getting old and needs cleaning. Had several issues with the condition of the room but staff was willing to help. Wouldn’t go back.

The blackout shades required a visit from maintenance. He was great and fixed it, but should have been right before. Toilet seat very loose. The property needs to pay more attention to having the housecleaning crew report issues. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good.

One of the cleanest hotels I ever stayed at! Also, all staff I encountered were very friendly. Able to walk to the beach and a few restaurants. Not a far drive to other attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved that the staff gave us a complementary upgrade!!! So convenient on first floor and to have access to the patio. Breakfast was good, esp. sausage & bacon! Good coffee. Enjoyed the happy hour. Snacks just ok. Ordered tempura shrimp one night -- excellent! Pretty lady with longer, brown hair in gift shop was super helpful, answering questions re: getting into St. Aug & how to get around. Another pretty gal with short white hair in the gift shop was also very helpful with information on another occasion. Staff person in bar area was super friendly -- can't remember his name, but he likes snakes AND cats and we just enjoyed our conversations with him. Another woman who assisted with coffee supplies in the morning was great -- helpful & very friendly! Nice smile. We left to go to Amelia Island but wish we had stayed longer! Downsides: $$$PARKING! Noisy at pool with construction. Unfortunate. Hot tub one morn before breakfast was glorious! Nice lobby with separate seating areas was nice.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was extremely helpful, the room and facilities were very well maintained and the location was ideal for trip. Definitely would recommed.

Ok stay except for faulty alarm & hairs on bed
When we first entered our room it smelled like dog. We used the pull out couch during our stay and upon pulling it out we noticed that the fabric mattress protector was thoroughly covered in black animal hair. We took it up to the front desk, they apologized and gave us a new one. And I know it's not the fault of the hotel but their alarm system was faulty the first night we were there and 3 times our whole family (including 3 young kids) were awoken to the deafening sound of the alarm. Unfortunately it scared our young kids and each time it happened they woke up screaming and crying. Other than that it was a good stay.

Not bad stay
The first hotel room we got it was very moldy smelling. They tried multiple things to get rid of the smell... Didn't work. Was great with moving rooms after and that room was fine. Very noisy with dogs though. Breakfast was okay and basic. Parking was easy. Friendly staff besides one man and woman specifically.

We stayed only one night as we were in town for a wedding. Check in was easy, the room was very spacious. Location was close to our venue and being pet friendly was key to us staying here. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice rooms and breakfast
This was our second time staying at this Home2 Suites. Spacious room, nice breakfast, quiet. Not crowded and the room was clean. Love the distance to the beach and the staff is friendly. I wish there were more breakfast options and pool was a little bigger, but I’d come back again regardless. Very pleased with our stay.

Stayed here over July 4th weekend and was not over crowded like some places..It was clean and managed well..breakfast was to be expected just ok with the closet eggs..Gym was nice and well equipped..pool was better than most but I did not use..area is close to beaches 👍

Checking in was smooth. Front desk found us an available room at 10am, which gave us more time to enjoy the beach. All staff was super sweet and accommodating.You can walk from property but in the sun the walk is miserable. Rooms are spacious, quiet. Pool towels were a plus. Bathroom was rather small. Breakfast was typical. Selections were good. Our only complaint was the dog hair around the toilet.

The room was very spacious, mini kitchen was wonderful, lighting and window shades were the best I have ever had in a hotel. Staff was fantastic. Bed was OK, not as comfy as I would have liked. And I was quite surprised that there were no hooks in bathroom to hang things on.
