「The staff was friendly and helpful and considering the age of the property, it was very clean. The rooms were huge and they all had a pretty view of the field behind the property. This property was conveniently located near a wedding venue we were headed to. It was not fancy but it was very clean. 」

「The hotel is like a step back in time but with all modern amenities including an elevator. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were comfortable, AC worked very well, and restaurant food was very good. Would definitely stay here again!」

「Here with three friends for girls getaway. Love the property, close proximity to town, walkability, parking. Loved the grounds. No full length mirrors in room, nor hangars for clothing. Because part of the building is from the 1800's, the renovations have "piped in air-con" with was through a vent in the window, but it did work.」

「just a fun, funky little town - the union hotel goes way back - would love to have seen it in its hey day! and if you can get a room (only 2 of 4) with direct balcony access even better (but you can access the balcony from the hallway for the other 2 rooms) - homemade breakfast (you get a selection) is - well - special - as is the super cool lady who does it all: hostess, waitress, busser - and most importantly - *chef*!! she's remarkable! want to go back on a friday to experience some of their...

She said she was familiar with the guys in the room and would talk to them. She did and they were quiet. 「We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.」
