We loved this place so much! Great location! We were close to so many places to explore. The property was really nice with a stream just steps away. Room was cozy and the owner was so nice. Thank you for a great stay!

Good, tasteful, old-fashioned decor. Pleasant, attentive staff. Very good value for the money. (We chose a time when the price was lower.) Simple continental breakfast. My wife and I would definitely return.

This place was such a great get away! The grounds were well kept and the sound of the stream behind the property was so relaxing! The main lodge was cozy with the fireplace and coffee bar. Loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

Had a last minute change in our plans and needed a place to stay near StoryLand. Covered Bridge was the choice. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, we had a late check in (after 8 PM) and the staff was responsive. The property is older but that wasn’t anything that deterred us from staying. We needed a clean, comfortable, central place to sleep for two nights after each day packed with activities and it did the job! The room with two double beds was sufficient for 1 adult and 3 kids (under 12).

Outdated, dark, and dank. Owner is miserable and mean. She made it quite clear she doesn’t like Massachusetts people. She also doesn’t like working they a 3rd party, such as Expedia. Only positive thing is they did changed our sheets. We only stayed a weekend.

The bed spreads were lovely, very cute. Christmas decorations in the reception room in July. Good base in a cute town. Definitely recommend visiting Ravenwood Curio Shoppe while you’re here.

Great location. Fun to play in the river and the kids swings were appreciated. The room wasn't the cleanest. Nothing terrible, just old clothes in a drawer and soda bottles under the bed. There was also a huge crack in the patio window. That said it was still a good choice for the price.

This is a tired, worn down hotel that needs a facelift to be sure. Good things -- lady at desk was so sweet and helpful, room had a porch overlooking the lawn and river, room was generally clean, Negative things -- bed was a foam mattress on a cheap steel frame (needless to say, I didn't sleep very well), refrigerator was worthless as it froze everything in it .. when I turned it off, it drained all over the furniture, hallway was so dark and dreary with minimum light coverage, toilet paper didn't even feel or act like it was single ply, unless you want just a bagel, cereal, or some fruit, the breakfast as non-existent, photos on website were old and there was mold around the shower. Sadly, I doubt I'd stay here again even if it was the best deal around.

The ac unit filters weren't clean. There was no one at the desk upon arrival so I had to go back to my car to get my phone to call someone to the desk. I didn't see and no one mentioned about any breakfast meal. The mirror in the room was streaked wasn't cleaned well.

Priscilla, the front desk clerk was nasty and aggressive. She told me to remove my dog from the lobby and as I was silently walking my dog back to our room, she followed behind me saying if I didn't like her rules I could leave, she was ranting that my 48 lb dog was considered "large" and because he has some Staffy in him, he was dangerous. (dog is the biggest baby ) She then insulted my partner when he dropped off the key at the front desk, trying to provoke another physical altercation, by saying does he think he's a tough guy? She followed him out the the vehicle and upon seeing me there loading up our gear, and proceeded to grossly insult me again. I have since read the Yelp, and Google reviews and can see this is not the first time she has been aggressive and combative towards guests. I will NEVER return to this place and will actively let my friends and fellow hikers not to go there either.

The bath tub was rusty, I called the management to look at it. It looked like poop!! She came in and said it was rust!! There was rust around the top of the tub. She said this room hadn't been modernized yet. I was wondering why she didn't give us a room that was updated??? There was only us and one other car in parking lot. So they were not full. Sorry we picked this place.
