「The smell was terrible; you can't sleep like that.」

「From the outside, it doesn't look bad, your normal motel setting. The second you open your door to the room, it goes from normal to 1980's cop drama where the cops stay in the most terrible motel room to do surveillance on someone. AC was cold, but was filled with dust and who knows what, as well as the vent being broken. Every corner had some sort of debris or dirt in it. You could see through the very thin fitted sheet to the stains all over the rock hard plank of a mattress. Had to cover the...

「This is an older motel, so take that into account along with you get what you pay for. The staff was nice and accommodating. We were selling our home and needed an inexpensive place to stay for a few days until closing. It wasn't nasty, just needs to be renovated but then the price would go up.」

「We always enjoyed staying at the Tompkinsville Inn. We haven’t stayed in several years and we were very disappointed this time. The property has really gone downhill. The grass had not been mowed in some time. The pool was full of green water. There seemed to be no attempt at repairing or updating the property. And, they are charging $110 per night. We won’t be staying there, again.」
