"The hostel is in a great location, close to the train station and lots of great places to eat nearby. But that's the only strong point. Everything else is average at best. The place needs renovation, WiFi doesn't work, cleaning in the shared bathrooms could be improved. But the location is great. So if you are looking for 1 night near the station - this would do."

"Stayed 5 nights here, and it was great! The chalet was a perfect, private place next to the pool. The hotel staff was fantastic, friendly, helpful & made me feel like I was at home. I made new friends & really enjoyed my stay at A4 Residence, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I travel to Sri Lanka. "

"Quite clean. Bed did not have fitted sheets. Loud religious chanting coming from nearby mosque all night long, and was not possible to close the bathroom window (decorative cement blocks - so could not block the noise. Was not able to sleep."
