A great base for exploring Izmir.

Booked by low price, central location and description, so we were very pleasantly impressed by the efficient welcome and check-in on arrival, mid-afternoon, and to find impeccably clean, neat rooms. We enjoyed our cup of tea with the kettle provided, and the minibar offerings were very good (even if not used!) and noted the restaurant offered orders if required. The optional buffet breakfast gave us an excellent choice. However, it was a nice walk to the Kordon and Alsancak dining areas, very close to the tramway, so we enjoyed our 24 hours sight-seeing in Izmir thoroughly. Only slight drawback is it is in a very quiet area at night, being in a busy shops area by day. Of course, parking in Izmir is an issue, but Reception were very helpful directing us to safe paid parking. Giving friends the hotel name!

The hotel is relatively cheap, the staff was fine, and it is within walking distance of many nice things to see in Izmir. Unfortunately the room itself wasn't great. The bathroom was moldy, poorly ventilated, and the toilet continuously ran the entire time and the large flush option on it did not work. Towels weren't clean from the start and you have to specify that you want your room cleaned or else they won't which they didn't tell us. The bed had a thin unfitted sheet layed over the mattress and the only blanket we were given was thin and had holes in it. In addition the air conditioning did not work and the door to the "balcony" did not lock. Lastly the hotel is inaccessible by car and there is a small walk from any drivable street so finding it is awkward. Overall I would not recommend staying here based off of our experience.

Beautiful, but.....

Everything was great, but the parking was miserable. The street the hotel is on closes at 10AM and opens at 6PM. God forbid you want to stay in late and get sleep, you're locked in until 6PM. I was coming back around 2AM once my business was finished and there were no parking places in front of the hotel left. Couple of nights I was told to park in front of the businesses and nothing would happen as long as I was able to leave before 10am. Unfortunately, the business owners there were less then cordial and tore into me for parking there. There's a nearby parking area, but they charge ridiculous prices, and there's no discount for parking there because of the hotel. Beautiful hotel and great staff if you don't have a car.

Location was great: The famous bazaar was 8 min away to the left of the property and there's a metro station nearby as well. To the right u just walk 3 min to the nearest tram that can take u to Alsancak or u can walk for max 7 min to arrive to a very nice college style neighborhood. It reminded me of New York honestly. Room was extra clean and facilities are great. The receptionists were more than perfect and helpful and polite gentlemen. All in all perfect hotel.

Wir waren insgesamt für 5 Nächte anwesend. Die Zimmer sind Standard eingerichtet, man darf kein Luxus erwarten, insgesamt gemütlich mit einen kleinen Balkon ausgestattet. Betten sind bequem, aber das ist Geschmack Sache. Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend von allen die Spiegeleier medium. In der früh ab 6 Uhr wird es im Hotel sehr laut, man hört alle Gäste die Zimmer verlassen wie die Tür zu fällt, also ist man gezwungen auch aufzustehen. Was positiv war dass der Hotel sehr zentral ist und mit weniger geh Minuten das Metro oder Bus zu erreichen ist. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und auch viele Restaurants.

Wer wie wir eine Unterkunft für 2-3 Tage in Izmir verbringen möchte und keine 500€ ausgeben möchte, das aber Standardisierten (z. Bspl. Rauchverbot/ Geldbuße) Hotelregeln untersteht sucht? Der ist hier genau richtig. Besonders hat uns die Zentrale Lage gefallen. Ottogar (15Min.), Zum Hafen und zum Basar das seines gleichen sucht quer über die Hauptstraße. Für Leute die billigen Hotel suchen aber 5 Sterne Service erwarten nicht geeignet. "Wasch mich aber mach mich nicht nass" funktioniert auch hier nicht. Unsere Erwartungen wurden vollkommen erfüllt. PS: Wir stehen als Gäste in keiner Verpflichtung gegenüber den Hotelbesitzern. Gruß Edu

En general, buena relación calidad/precio, habitación amplia, limpia, camas muy cómodas (quizás la almohada muy gorda para mi gusto), personal amable. Si llegas antes, tienen una sala para dejar las maletas hasta la hora de hacer el check in. Lo que se podría mejorar es el desayuno. Sin estar mal, falta fruta (cuando estuvimos nosotros sólo había naranjas que no estaban buenas y manzanas). Echamos de menos algo de melón, sandía ... El café es de polvos, no hay café café. La mermelada es sólo de fresa y no muy buena. Quizás lo estoy comparando con otros 2 hoteles que hemos estado en Turquía, Estambul y Goreme (Cappadocia), que tenían muy buenos desayunos y eran de categoría parecida, pero si es el primer hotel en el que estás en Turquía y no puedes comparar, seguramente no esté tan mal. El hotel está céntrico, junto al gran bazar y a 8 minutos andando de la estación de tren para ir a Efeso (Selçuk) o a Pamukkale (Denizli).

The air conditioning in our room was barely working. It’s 40 degrees outside and we’re traveling with a baby. We asked them to change our room but they didn’t accept. I asked for a fan they said the AC is fine! My son got dehydrated and sick during the night. Next day I told them to either change the room or I leave, they said they are fully booked. So I hot another hotel. When checking out they said oh we can change the room!!! There was black mold in the AC filter and bathroom.
