"The best place to stay to go to the historical Bikan - wonderful place to visit. Take into account to store your bags you need to rent a locker (¥500-¥1000). Breakfast is literally a sandwich in a box, coffee is ¥200."

"The hotel was easy to find and walking distance to Kurashiki Station and Bikan Historical area. The staff at the front desk as well as cleaning staff provided excellent service. The room was clean and amenities were provided. Lovely hotel and staff. "
"My husband and I stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama for one night between two parts of our trip near the Seto Inland Sea. The hotel is conveniently located near the city’s JR station and within walking distance of urban landmarks like Okayama Castle. It was clean and comfortable, and the staff were excellent — they even brought our takkyubin luggage to our room so it was waiting upon our arrival. The breakfast buffet offered a mix of regional, Japanese, and Western dishes, and it was the best breakfast we had during our trip to Japan."
"Recently stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location is perfect for a 8-10 min walk from Okayama station. Check in was a breeze and the young lady had no issue storing our bags before the 3pm check in. The corner room was spacious. Bedding adequate, although one of the pillows was hard as a rock and felt beaded inside. Not sure what that was about haha. Check out easy as well. Area felt safe walking back around 9pm with no issues as the area was busy. Hotel I would highly recommend. "
"The bed & pellow are pretty home-like, I have no problem sleeping with them. Staff are really courteous.
But the air-conditioner in my single room is not at the perfect location, where the wind either blows directly behind when you sit, or blows directly on your mat when you sleep. I got a fever on the third day and decided to turn to 27 degree but luckily it works very well.
I really prefer all the 'seasonal hotsprings', where you feel the outdoor cold breeze.
The gym is a bit small but fairly equipped. "
"Basement hot tub/sauna was a great amenity. Very walkable to city’s Bikran Historical District. Easy access to train station & wonderful nearby market."
