"Well beyond a five star luxury property, with service to match. The place effuses understated luxury and an unfussy vibe and is an architectural nirvana. Gorgeous pool, spa, grounds, electric bikes and room which was spotless. The best of the best in terms of furnishings. More intimate and understated but exceptional. My wife and I extended our stay it was so sublime. Cannot say enough about our host, Pinotta and her husband, who made our four day stay even better. We will be back...Ciao."

"Absolutely beautiful and tranquil. Set hidden away, the 7 rooms are scattered around the property. The two pools are wonderful, one with music and one without, and plenty of comfy places to sit and relax. Space in the tree covered area for those wanting more shade. We ate here one evening and were impressed with the food. All of the staff working here are pleasant and attentive. We booked massages and these were great too. It’s a great base for exploring all the regional towns, roads are good and easy to drive on. We had a superior room and although not huge, was well presented and furnished with a nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend !"

"I was incredibly surprised on how beautiful it was - the pictures don’t do it justice. Our room was in the center of the town in a beautiful alley by an amazing restaurant. We had a private roof where we drank wine. Breakfast was lovely and the staff gave us amazing recommendations on activities during the day (we had a car). Staff were really really nice. I highly recommend this place, very romantic."

"Our stay at the Villa Maggi was amazing from start to finish! It is a beautiful property with a lovely pool which was fantastic to come back to after a day’s sightseeing. The location is excellent as it is only 5 minutes from Locorotondo (a beautiful hilltop town). Dino couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay so special. He cooked us a wonderful meal on one of the evenings and suggested other places to eat too. He also gave us excellent advice about sightseeing and places to visit. We also enjoyed tasting his own wines from the family vineyard. Dino is an excellent pastry chef and so the selection for breakfast was great, as was the different fruits, many of which came from his own garden. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel San Michele. Our room was big, comfortable, and well-equipped, with plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were comfy for a great night's sleep, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was great too, with lots of variety to start the day. The outdoor pool was clean, well looked after, and a perfect spot to relax and cool off after spending the day exploring nearby Martina Franca. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the historic centre and very easy to get around on foot. The flat, well-kept paths made it simple to use a buggy or pushchair, which was a big plus for us as a family. Overall, we’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"Kept in touch with hosts on our way there re timing changes as requested. Always had a response almost immediately after sending message. Route there from the main road is very single track, and a bit tight in places, especially when the car hire company gives you “…a little upgrade….” Toyota Yaris or equivalent is now an MG SUV - nice for longer drives but a little wide for some roads. Warm welcome by Giovanni - thank you for speaking English to us. Short tour of estate and the lovely pool area but only opened at 10:00 (hubby likes to swim lengths in the morning and couldn’t) then to the trulli we had booked, which was amazing. Very chintzy but cute and clean. Kitchen is equipped if you want to eat in, although fridge is not particularly cold, and quite a few of the plates (also chintzy) were a tad chipped. Only downside was a/c located in living area not bedroom, and, apparently by Italian government law, is set to 26degrees, which wasn’t very effective. Not shown how to operate it and no power off button on wall thermostat so only way to turn off when we were out for the day was pulling the plug out. Be aware that the toilets here are very low to the ground, which doesn’t help if you have arthritic knees. The toiletries in the bathroom smelt really nice. TV channels limited. Free WiFi but poor connectivity. Beautifully kept grounds, quiet guests whilst we were there. If you want a peaceful, unique place to stay, then this is definitely the place for you."

"Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff members were friendly, polite, and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One thing I really appreciated was the convenient parking area, which made arrival and departure easy. Having breakfast included was also a great bonus, with a good variety and a pleasant start to the day. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
