Hotel is very nice for the price and location. Staff were super helpful and i have no complaints with them. Would not recommend breakfast buffet. Also the "safe" driver who took me to the airport texted on all 3 of his phones the whole time to the airport. Sometimes yelling at his phone and swerving all while it was raining and seatbelt didnt work. Other than that great stay.

This is an extremely well-run property. The rooms are well appointed. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Don't miss the breakfast buffet the view and food are excellent. Great location.

Nice venue. Well located for Galata without being in the madness of Taksim. Easy 10 min downhill walk to Karaköy station to get the tram to the Old City. Bathroom lovely. Breakfast nice, phenomenal view over the Bosphorus. Be aware however that heading to Galata is a bit of an uphill; there are different degrees of slope depending on how quickly you want to get there however so it’s not too bad.

Bro did an amazing job of taking care of my needs, while I was there, all the historical sites are in perfect range of the hotel, the last day when I was about to leave one of the staff members was not going to let me eat and Salih let me eat for free, if your looking for a place to stay, The Hotel Galatas is the place, the terrace is immaculate

A welcoming and clean hotel

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and welcoming. It is an easy walk to the metro station. All the major attractions in Istanbul are easy to get to either walkable or with public transportation. We used the pool and spa facilities, it was great after a busy day exploring the city.

Only downside was that the hotel pool was very cold (okay I guess if it's the summer and hot outside) so only used it once. I

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Hotel Galata in Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their professionalism and genuine helpfulness. Whether it was answering questions, giving local tips, or assisting with anything I needed, they consistently went above and beyond. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made my stay all the more relaxing. I also really appreciated the hotel's great location. It was conveniently situated with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, shops, and major attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. New; literally open less than a month. Clean room (with comfortable bed), friendly and helpful management and staff! Short walk to Galata Tower, cafes, coffee shops, and local burek/tea shops. Metro station five minutes up the hill. Half hour walk over the Galata Bridge to ALL must-see sites: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Spice Market, Grand Bazaar. The service at the hotel was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The property itself was in pristine condition, appearing both clean and newly renovated. Upon our arrival, our luggage was promptly taken to our room, and we were personally shown the accommodations. Special requests made prior to our stay were carefully considered and fulfilled. The breakfast experience was enhanced by a wonderful view and a diverse selection of high-quality dishes. Coffee and other special requests were expertly prepared by the chef at no extra charge, all offered with a warm and friendly attitude.

Most of the staff people were very friendly and the rooms and view was very nice BUT this is the most unprofessional hotel i’ve ever stayed at. There was an incident where my friend lost her wallet and we called 10 times at the hotel front desk and nobody ever replied. Then when we departed from it I asked a business invoice which they told me okay and 2 months later i still don’t have the invoice. I had to contact them 2 times in order to ask again and again they kept telling me they’ll get back to me and they never did which is super unprofessional and shows lack of responsibility towards customers
