Unguaranteed reservation and Given a worse hotel

This hotel changed our booking to other worse hotel when check-in. We have arrived this hotel on 10/22 morning and then began our daytime tour and waited for check-in. But, when we wanted to check-in the evening, the staff told us there are some problem to their bath and shower facility. Hence, he wanted to change our booking to other equivalent hotel. However, the other hotel is only 3-star and not equivalent to Aprillis hotel which is 4-star. This hotel didn't provide any refund or compensation to us. And, when we back to Aprillis hotel and argued with the staff, we saw many people completed their check-in and walked around in the hotel. It seemed the problem only occurred to our booked room and nothing to others. It's hard to trust what this hotel said. This is the worst experience in our Turkey travelling. It seems this hotel is not first time to change customers' booking. We sincerely hope none will meet the same treatment from Aprillis.

因為交通方便的關係選擇了這間飯店

也因為交通的關係，附近的進出人相對的複雜(門口就有乞丐)，因為出去採買禮品(對面就是有頂市集)，進出門口多次，鮮少看到櫃檯的服務人員臺頭起來看，態度上並沒有這麼好。想搭遊艇遊河的關係，沒有辦法詳細的介紹相關的資訊，很可惜。早餐的飲料味道不太對勁，餐桌上的鹽跟胡椒罐都是空的，對於一個四星等的飯店這應該不太可能發生的。因為位於鬧區中，早晚的交通喇叭聲，關上了窗戶還是聽得很清楚。除了交通便利之外，價格跟環境不怎麼推薦。

Perfect location, few minutes walk for main attractions! Good breakfast, excellent staff, hotel itself very clean. HUGE problem are their beds! Firm is not a word to describe, rock hard!!! Pillows the same very hard. Paper thin walls, you can hear every word and sound, like literally someone in your bed. Shower cabin is very small, I am average size person was having trouble to get in or turn around. We had upgraded room, size is very good, but out of window like a prison courtyard.

Amazing location. Close to the museum, blue mosque, hagia sophia etc.. Great, friendly staff, on the ball at all times. Clean and tidy. Lovely terrace on the roof. Keep it up

Avoid at all costs - not suitable for women at all

Room-had minimal yellow lighting and faced a stairway no sunlight-the hotel manager told me he was doing me a favour- apparently I had booked one single and one double but he had given me a quadruple and a double!I had in fact booked two double rooms. Two days later a smaller room was made available to us which we had to decline as there was no space to even open a suitcase fully! On the first morning for breakfast-the eggs had finished in the serving buffet we were told this would cost an extra 5 euros however as it was our first day they would give it us for free-Quite a shock as we had already paid for breakfast The highlight of this trip was when my wallet went missing from my room-it was there the night before and after breakfast as we were leaving the hotel I noticed it was not in my bag-however when I questioned the hotel about this the manager advised me no one apart from housekeeping had been in my room and she had worked there for over six years ... hence definitely could not be a thief! Final straw was as we were leaving the hotel - on the 1st day we were advised the drinks were free in the room - we actually double checked this with them - as we were in the taxi two men run up to my father and said pay for them and tried to pry open the taxi and get aggresive! Would not even check with the initial person who told us they were free! Finally the manager had no respect for women at all – almost dismissed all my concerns and did not take me seriously at all

チェックイン直後にエアコンが故障中で、直すと言っていたが、外出から戻ってきた時にはまだ治っていなかった。電気系が古いようなので、交換すべきと思います。

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage und gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Lage ist sehr belebet. Der Lärm war deshalb vom Hotelzimmer aus leider vor allem auch abends zu hören. Das Hotelzimmer war etwas klein, reichte aber völlig aus. Die Ausstattung entsprach dem Standard. Die Betten waren für uns allerdings sehr klein, hart und ungemütlich. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Die Auswahl war zwar nicht groß, aber für uns ausreichend. Beim Frühstück wurden wir immer sehr lieb von den beiden Mitarbeiterinnen Merve und Betül bedient. Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt weiterempfehlen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis hat für uns gepasst.

Location is perfect. Steps away from the tram stop. Short walks to major sites. Incredible breakfast. The staff could not be more attentive and helpful. They go over and above basic service. Shower is small. Beds very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage Die Top Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Straßenbahn 300m entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen tollen Blick. Gutes Frühstück Nettes und zuvorkommend Personal.

Great location!

This is a smaller hotel conveniently located in the old city. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They gave us great information which made it easy for us to make our plans on what to visit and where to eat. We could walk to most everything including the Blue Mosque. The hotel is clean and nice. There is a wonderful bar upstairs with great views. The rooms are good size and quite comfortable. We loved having a room where we could look out on the street and feel connected to the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage. Der Bazar ist fußläufig sehr schnell erreichbar. Die Bahn (die Haltestelle ist 1 Min. entfernt) fährt zu allen grossen Sehenswürdigkeite und zum Hafen von wo man auch sehr schnell und einfach auf die asiatische Seite übersetzen kann. Leider ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig, aber mit Ohrstöpsel sehr gut auszuhalten. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.Das Essen (wir hatten nur Frühstück) ist ausgiebig, frisch und lecker. Es war für jeden was dabei (inkl. Vegetarier). Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a really great time staying at the Aprilis Hotel. The staff looked after us so well, with such courtesy and kindness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable; the hotel was very central for all of our sightseeing; the breakfasts were plentiful; and the views from the rooftop bar were incredible. The hotel is on the main tram route, with only 10 minutes walk down the hill to Haggia Sophia and the Basilica Cisterns. We stayed here for 12 nights and found plenty to do in and around the city. The staff greeted us with Turkish tea on arrival,. and brought complimentary drinks to our room one night.The breakfast staff were super helpful, and the reception staff were a great help in helping us plan our sightseeing. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excelent Hotel

We had an excellent stay at this wonderful hotel. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed and attentively cared for by the entire staff. We must especially highlight the outstanding service provided by Tarik and Ercan, who were essential in making our experience perfect. The hotel’s location is simply unbeatable close to everything, with easy access to the tram and the city’s main attractions, which made our sightseeing even more convenient. The breakfast is very good. All of this, combined with the friendliness and professionalism of the entire team, made our stay truly exceptional. We are very happy and will definitely return here on a future visit. Congratulations to everyone for the impeccable service!
