"I loved my stay at Privledges, however the culture of saving loungers on beach and not occupying them for several hours is ridiculous. The pool was awesome, the staff, Edwin, Alex, Eduardo, & Samuel top notch! I would highly recommend this resort, all inclusive was the best way for us to go!"
"Great location. 2 minutes from Playa Norte. You can walk to everything you need. Restaurants all around.
The pool is not the best. Looked dirty but who wants to use the pool when yhe beach is across the street.
The man with the little souvenir store rents beach chairs or umbrellas for 8 dollars. Wort it if you are planing to stay at the beach all day.
When we got there the front desk lady was rude. She had an attitude and was short with us..
I went and talk to an older lady that was there she was nice and gave us the wifi passcode and told us where the pool was and that we could use towels.
Anyways will stay there again just because of location and price. "
"The only good thing about the room was the view of the ocean from the balcony. When we first arrived in the room we noticed the floor was gritty with sand and some crumbs by the fridge. There is a light above the front door that is on a motion sensor so it comes on in the middle of the night anytime we got up to use the bathroom. There is wiring visible above the bedside tables that is just twisted and hanging there like a fire hazard. Then the final insult was we asked for 2 bottles of water on the last day because we had not gotten them from housekeeping the day before and we were told we would be charged for them since it was check out day. Would not recommend to anyone."
"Booked super late online but they took me in right away. So close to the perfect beach. Room a/c was great, cold mini fridge, nice shower. I’ll be back for sure. "
"Rooms were clean. Place in general needs a little updating. Overall was very nice. Food was good. Staff is amazing. Luis at the bar is very friendly and does an excellent job. JC is awesome as always as the beach waiter. Will be back again "
"The Mayan Monkey is a very attractive place located in the South of Isla Mujeres. It is very quiet, right on the ocean, but located far from nightlife and restaurants. A city bus or taxi can take you to the more active north part of the island. We paid for an included breakfast for 3 days. On the first day the service took more than an hour and the eggs we ordered over medium came back as sunny side up. The second day the eggs came back over hard. The third day we tried to cancel the breakfast but the manager refused to refund the money. They provided only 2 coffee pods for the in-room coffee pot for a 3 day stay and said we would need to pay if we wanted any more. The staff were very pleasant, however.
