Loved the room, pool and all amenities. The location is super convenient to stores and the beach. Ill be back!

Palmaia was such a peaceful paradise! We went in mid June and it was pretty quiet so we felt like we had so much space to ourselves. Our nomadic guide Karen was helpful with all of our questions and checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything. We really appreciated her! Edgar gave us a tour when we first arrived and helped us get to the store at Sandos when we needed to get electrolytes (I got dehydrated the first day!) But what helped even more was when room service brought us fresh coconuts and a natural electrolyte drink. They literally saved our vacation because I felt better within an hour after that. The food was so good too! As vegetarians it was nice to not have to wonder what we could pick from the menu, and everything we chose was fresh and delicious. Our favorite restaurant was Ume- their sushi, pho, and desserts were our favorite dishes! Another highlight for us was the coffee shop, Plantissa. The interior design is out of a high end magazine and their bakery and drinks were a yummy mid day snack! We also attended some of the daily activities like yoga, a sound bath, breath work and an art class. It all felt like a dream, doing these things with such beautiful scenery around us! The teachers were kind and patient and we really appreciated the whole experience. We keep looking back at pictures and wanting to book again soon, it’s was so worth it!

The resort was very nice and the employees were very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint was a lack of communication when checking in. We were told to see a man to make reservations for lunch and dinner for that day and to see the concierge the following day to set up the rest. Since we also set up excursions for the following three days, I was not able to see the conserve until the third day. That was when we got a paper to see when all the different food choices were open. I would have liked this information at check in and also what their menus were. A paper map would be nice since our Internet only worked in our room and the main building. The beach was full of sargassum, which I understand is seasonal, but would have been nice to know. The restaurants were really nice and there were many which to choose. The rooms were nice and clean.

The property is nice. This time of year the beach is inaccessible. There were several things we needed or asked for and it seems the general answer was by default, no. The food was overall not as good as other places in the same category I’ve been. The formal dress code for dinner I wasn’t aware of until I arrived, and then was conveniently funneled into the gift shop with plenty of pants and shoes to purchase for men who didn’t show up with them. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of parties if that’s your thing. I won’t go back.

The staff is amazing they helping out with everything you need. We come back because this place is beautiful, Unfortunately the menus are different now, they cut a lot of options for lunch and the breakfast is the same everyday. I wish they back on the same menus from 2 years ago. The place is beautiful but they can do better improving the rooms. Drinks are delicious.
