Spacious apartment with a washing machine, kitchen with hot plates oven and microwave. The bathroom was a good size. Walkable distance into the town centre and lots to see and do in the surrounding environs. The host was welcoming and extremely helpful.

Great spot in Isafjordur!

What a lovely stay! Comfortable, great location. And Sigridur is a fantastic host. Came to Isafjordur for the Aldrei music festival and to visit our daughter who is studying in this magical place. And we could not have been happier with the Solheimar. The weather was arctic crazy--nonstop snow and wind. But we were still able to walk everywhere and were quite comfortable returning to the warmth of the Solheimar! Highly recommended! We'll be back.

Excellent apartment with glorious views. Stayed in the B apartment, both located underneath the owners house. Very generous size & perfectly clean with a good kitchen set up. Lovely walk into main town area & the house is in a quiet street. Nice little garden area as well. Great stay & nice to have extra room over 2 nights.

This apartment was perfect for our stay. The neighborhood is very walkable with dining spots just a 5-10 minute walk away. The views are gorgeous and we loved waking up here each morning. The apartment was very clean. The host communicates clearly and responded to our messages very promptly. This apartment has a full kitchen. The bathroom even has a laundry washing machine. This space was perfect for our 3 day trip exploring the northern reaches of Iceland. Highly recommend for future travelers.

Clean, comfortable, peaceful stay in Isafjordur!

The owners were very nice and communicative. The apartment was well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay and was exceptionally clean. The owners have a couple of units under their main home, so this is a stay on a quiet residential street. The patio area is wonderful to enjoy in good weather. It's an easy and beautiful walk to town from here. If we make it back to Isafjordur, we would certainly stay here again. I got the best sleep so far during our trip to Iceland at this location.

Leuk en ruim appartement (alles aanwezig, zelfs wasmachine) met een gezellige tuin. Het is makkelijk lopen naar het centrumpje wat echt gezellig is met veel restaurants en cafeetjes. Eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en geeft graag advies over omgeving.

Friendly couple who run this property and were very helpful. The apartment had all the amenities listed and we were able to wash our clothes after a week long trip. The town is a short walk away and is super beautiful. This was definitely our favourite property we’ve stayed at for our trip and my husband asked if we could stay another night!

Great place, nice hosts. Property is in a good location - quiet neighborhood, yet close to town. Cozy yet spacious - nice kitchen & bathroom. Good water pressure, adequate towels & T.P. No A/C, but provided fan helped to cool apt for sleeping - it was fine.

Ideal location and comfort in Westfjords

What a wonderful place! It was so quiet and clean and welcoming! We were happy to stay not only one but two nights. Absolutely loved it there. Great place to stay if staying in the “capital” of the Westfjords. You COULD walk downtown, but driving only takes a second and it seems to me parking is always available. The beds were very comfortable, there was a lighter blanket to use rather than the very warm comforter (the weather was surprisingly warm) and a great little quiet fan (did I mention the warm weather?). Beautiful updated bathroom with excellent kitchen (just needs some cooking oil, but excellent frying pan).

They sent us a nice welcome message a few days before arrival with all relevant information. The apartment was spotlessly clean and all furnishing new. Very well situated in a quiet street within 5 minutes walking distance from the town center.

My wife and I stayed at Solheimar Studio Apartment A for two nights during our two week drive around Iceland. We found the apartment to be extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had all the amenities we needed for our stay and the washing machine was a blessing. The owners were available anytime we needed, but we did not need them as everything was perfect for our stay. We would stay here again without hesitation and will definitely highly recommend Solheimar Studio Apartments to others. Thank you for a carefree, clean, and comfortable stay.

Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We also enjoyed our visit to the beautiful Bridal Veil falls, and an amazing dinner at Tjoruhusid, suggested by our hostess.
