"I'm not entirely certain how this facility gets to call itself a "hotel" - or why it's branded as a Quality Inn? It's VERY obviously some kind of rebranded Motel 6 or Super 8. It has outdoor access rooms with no elevator available. The rooms are OLLLLLD with the ol' landlord special of white paint slopped all over everything that needs to be hidden from view. The drapes don't adequately cover the windows. The bathtub is cracked. The toilet seat is cracked. The shower is dirty. The tiles are cracked. The shower rod is hanging on with a hope and a prayer.
You can say the rooms are "non smoking" but when you allow all of your classy guests to stand around outside their rooms and chain smoke so that the entire outside access area is nothing but cigarette smoke and the entire facility stinks of smoke? It's really not non-smoking. I don't understand what room the pictures were taken in....certainly not the one we stayed in.
Breakfast was pop tarts, dry biscuits, and Sunny Delight. So, if that gets you going in the morning....more power to ya, I guess?
Calling this place "quality" is taking an awful lot of artistic license with the name. Expedia should be ashamed for listing this place as a hotel and offering it as a 3 star location. It deserves 1 star.....at best."
"Owner was very kind. He knew we were running a long trail race the next morning and got up an hour early so he could make coffee and put out breakfast for us at 5:30 am. We were so grateful!"
"The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It is an older hotel so don't expect a modern layout but it is well maintained and has everything you need for a good stay. I didn't use the pool but it looked well maintained and clean. There was plenty of parking space and it is located across from the civil war battlefield. I would recommend this hotel to other people visiting the area."
"Very clean, friendly down to earth owners, have stayed at another place in town and this was 100% hands down a better experience. Motel 6 owners are honest which is more than I can say for their competitor"
"Upon arriving I was informed by reservation was changed. I was then told I had to pay an additional $40 for changes. The $100 hold has still not been refunded and I left the room cleaner than when I arrived. There was an inch of dust in the drawers, bed sheets stained with yellow substance. Splatter on the walls next to a bed, not sure I want to know what it was, AC not working properly. NO ELEVATOR!!!! Pool gave me and two of my kids staff infections…. And their “breakfast” is a waffle or stale cereal. Smh you get what you pay for, or should I say, what they want you to pay!"
