"I booked the 3 -bedroom penthouse for a night for my family. It was fantastic: Great layout, really well-maintained, and very spacious. The outdoor deck was great. Just downstairs is the beach and a lovely walk to the park and the other way is downtown Sechelt and all the shops. Had a fantastic dinner at Fred’s, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and overlooking the ocean. Just steps away is a wonderful bistro Vin et Mer. Staff at the Inn were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Recommend!"

"Our weekend stay at the Back Eddy was filled with fun, local friendliness, nature, adventure and so much more! We arrived by boat so moored in the marina, we loved the dome, it really was camping without having to bring much with us. The bed was comfy and towels, shower coins were provided. The bathhouse a short walk from the dome. We rented a firepit with wood for a sunset fire. Egmont was friendly, would recommend the walk to the rapids during peak time and a stop at the bakery on the way there or back is a must! Definitely plan to go back and do it again soon."

"Great hotel with balconies facing the water. Lovely pillows and beds! Staff were friendly and accommodating and bonus having a good restaurant attached. Only negative was main road close by so noisy but can’t do anything about that! I would definitely stay here again!"

"A great place that’s been recently renovated with great comfy beds. The staff at the counter was very helpful. He helped back my bag to my room since it was on the second floor. Close to the ferry terminal. I’d definitely stay here again on my through."

"The hotel outside area is old as it looks like the property is going to be sold or renovated to upgrade the property. The hotel is older but room was large clean and had a wonderful view with a balcony. The Bistro restaurant attached to hotel was lovely and had an outdoor patio looking over the water. It’s only open Wednesday to Sunday so we lucked out! The staff at the front desk and restaurant were attentive and friendly. We would stay again."
