「Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. So we did. My understanding was that she would bring all the paper forms to us for filling in. Then she came and asked me to go to the counter, which is about 30 meters away from where we sit. 「We stayed in 6 different hotels during our trip in Sri Lanka and this one is by far the best one. Luxury feel with amazing view, spacious rooms and balcony, great service and breakfast. My favorite part is the pool, big with an amazing view of the field and farm. Note that it's almost 1km from the main road so you probably won't go out much. It also means it's secluded, quiet and secluded.」

「This resort has a good reputation for a reason. Our stay here was truly magical. The resort grounds, staff, facilities, and food are hands-down the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. The spa is a must where Lina and her colleagues will pamper you like royalty. It was so very difficult to leave. We are already making plans to return. OsborneAdventures 」

「The staff were excellent and extraordinary welcoming. We are an elderly couple and the staff took care of us like we were their own children. The chief went out of his way to ask me what food I liked and cooked it especially just to make us feel welcome. That was not necessary but the warmth of the team made our holiday excellent. So clean and wonderful. 」

「淡季價錢很值得住好一點。早晚餐都很好吃，環境很好很舒服。有野生孔雀，職員說可以喂食。spa的地方騎單車去就好，spa普通但按摩師很nice 請我們吃當地水果，進酒店那條小路有另一間spa店，我們司機說又便宜又好。游泳池很乾淨房間超大很有feel。」

「This is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus. The Other Corner makes an excelllent base for touring the national parks, ancient cities and Sigiriya.」

Recommended in Dambulla

"Not the cheapest hotel but value for money. Recommended! Same as the picture shown on the offical page. Pros: New. Very clean rooms and very spacious. Toilet with both shower and bath tub. Sufficient sockets. Super friendly staff. Quiet place for sleep facing the greenery with bird singing in the morning. With balcony. Air-con worked very well. Breakfast in big portion, tasty and could try Sri Lankan style (fish curry, roti, potato curry, spicy coconut flakes) Cons: Shower water temperature a little bit fluctuate (but acceptable). Around 10 mins walk to the hotel from city center clock tower (but easy to find a tuktukif you dont want to walk)"
