The location is very nice, nestled amongst beautiful homes with a few cafes and restaurants close by. It's a very walkable location. The room was comfortable, and the jet tub was very appreciated after walking and sightseeing all day. We were greeted by Travek (I may have spelled that wrong), and he was exceptionally helpful and is a true asset to the hotel.

The hotel itself was good for the money. Jason was super friendly but due to the accident in room 19 was the only staff member available which led to the theft of toilet roll. Trash was never taken out. TV did not work. Had to hunt down towels. No restaurant on premises although there are many signs that say there is. Highly recommend.

On arrival, the staff were very helpful. We had an issue with one of the rooms not having twin beds as we had requested but this was quickly resolved with a complementary upgrade. Although advertised on Expedia as offering food, we were informed that no food was available during our stay. The room itself was fairly clean but it was obvious that the hotel is going through hard times. The curtains were hanging off the rails and the blinds did not meet so privacy/light intrusion was an issue. However, the bed was comfortable and the towels were clean and fresh. The bathroom was in a sorry state. The shelf above the wash basin was not level and at one point everything fell off onto the floor. Of the two recessed ceiling lights, only one was working and as there was no window, you could not see what the controls in the shower were for. The handle on the inside of the shower door was missing so you had to grip what was left of the screws in order to close the door. There was also no shelf in the shower on which to place soap/shampoo and the toilet roll holder was missing although the bracket was still on the wall. All in all - a shame that, with a little more attention to maintenance, the hotel could be worthy of a better rating
