「Our check-in wasn’t the best—arrived at 3:40 for a 3pm check-in. Our room wasn’t ready and the desk clerk wasn’t very helpful, only informing us check-in is between 3 and 4 (even though all communication said 3). Our room wasn’t ready until 4:20; during this time, we heard multiple travelers being told their room wasn’t ready; one mom asked if they could use the pool while they waited and were rudely told “well, you need a room key to use it…” I couldn’t believe the lack of empathy for this...

「The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it...

「The room was ok. The bathroom door is very hard to open. Even I had troubles with this door. It needed to be greased and/or looked at to be fixed. The two managers were very nice and gave us a complimentary breakfast for that week. Unfortunately one of the staff members at the front desk had a difficult time listening to our questions/request. His English was broken. Sorry sometimes we couldn't understand him at all. But again the two managers during the day were nice to talk with.」
