Staff at checkin were ok, not overly joyed to be there from my point of view. They charge separately for parking which to me seem shady and attempt to lure you in them wham, extra charges. Restaurant wasn’t open expect a couple days and when I inquired they didn’t offer any alternative. Place old and not well maintained. Not likely I would go back here.

There is no evidence on their website or on any listings that they have very very very limited food/bar options prior to their winter season beginning. Breakfast only is available daily. Fabulous food and service but only breakfast. Dinner available on Sunday and Wednesday the week we were there. We'd have booked at our conference venue hotel had we known that we'd have to go elsewhere nightly for lunch and dinner during our 4 days there. The people who work there are marvelous, truly. The food, when you are able to get it is also marvelous. Having this be very clear when booking really should be added. Their website still shows daily and the entertainment also advertised with a schedule is also not accurate. It was also only one night (Wednesday) when we were there. The room was lovely, the pool was spotless, the staff were really quite good. Food options was a really big letdown which necessitated traveling for food. Bar was wonderful but unable to even catch a drink after meetings at the end of the day or snag something cool by the pool since it was all closed off season

I was upset that they did not communicate that parking would be an additional charge of $50 and I only discovered it as I asked for a receipt at time of checkout and asked what the additional charge was for and she rudely stated parking. I had to park so far away and carry all my luggage along with 2 little children and one who is autistic. I also asked and called 2 days prior asking for a room with easy access to the pool due to my sons special needs requiring for him to be able to easily access the pool and they advised they was no room the day of check in but 2 days prior I was told they would make the accommodation. This was very disturbing and I would never stay there again.

Being built by Desi Arnez, this hotel has a glamerous feel with a grand stair case in the lobby. Because it was built in 1957, it is old. But staff is quick to fix any problems. The pool area was nice and lemon & orange infused water was always available in the lobby. Rooms are really reasonably priced but parking was a little high.

This was my second stay, and I was just as happy as the first time. The property is very clean, quiet, and safe, with easy parking and a nice pool to enjoy. The staff is welcoming, and I’m already planning to come back again.

Our stay at the Indian Wells Resort Hotel was deeply disappointing. The property felt old, outdated, and poorly maintained. Cleanliness was lacking, and the air conditioner was unbearably noisy—sounding like a plane engine—and filled the room with a cold, unpleasant smell that made it impossible to relax. The staff was not welcoming or friendly, which added to the negative experience. What was especially disheartening is that, given the hotel’s history with Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, one would expect a celebration of their legacy. Instead, the décor consisted mostly of cheap black-and-white prints scattered around the property, which felt uninspired and even unsettling, as if they were staring at you rather than honoring their contributions to entertainment. Overall, the hotel felt like a ghost of the past with nothing to justify its reputation or history. Sadly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.
