Great traditional Spa hotel with lots of history. Lots of related services and treatments available, smoke sauna, pool area and traditional saunas.
Rooms and public areas were nice and tidy, personnel very pleasant and informative. After a long drive it was great to get some bathing time and a massage on a short notice. Lovely.
Can`t really find much to point out for improvement other than the location :) Not frequenting Iisalmi region you see. Warmly recommended
Mielenkiintoinen sijainti.

-Ravintolassa on Kari Tapion rekvisiittaa.
Tullaan varmasti uudemmankin kerran! :)
The Spa Hotel Runni is a great spa resort. The basic services are a Sauna in the locker rooms and 4 pools (3 jets, 1 swimming). The jet pools were cooler than I am used too, but may be the norm for Finland. We took the optional Smoke Sauna. This was great and worth the 15 euros. There were jacquizzis in the Smoke Sauna facility but they were not operational. It woudl be nice if those were available as well.
My wife and I were in the old classic facility. The room was very nice with a shower stall in the room. The paint in the ceiling of the bedroom was peeling, otherwise it was a great room. We were there for 3 nights and never recieved any maid services. Language is a bit of an issue and I am not sure if that is just the service that comes with those rooms. Also, our room did not come with robes whereas the rooms in the main house has robes. This was big shortcoming in my mind.
The facilities are large and the river and surrounding nature is beatiful. This is definitily a great stay.
Henkilökunta on iloista ja mukavaa porukkaa. Huoneiden siisteys on kohtalainen. Tällä kertaa ruoka oli kohtalaista, olimme vähän pettyneitä. Tanssi-ilta oli kiva, hyvää tanssimusiikkia.
