"I liked the guy in charge of the place and this place was very, very cheap, so one can not expect much. Further more, we are Danish, so maybe we are spoiled. Never the less, we booked for 18 people (two times 9 bed dorms). We called in advance to make sure we knew what to bring. We were instructed only to bring towels. When we arrived there were only mattresses for 12 people, pillows and linnen for 8. We could have brought that stuff, so it was dissapointing that we were not told when we called....

"This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto. "

"The staff, the food, the atmosphere are all great. Very clean. This was our second time staying there. We haven’t really used the other amenities such as the pool yet but hope to on another visit. "
