"We wanted to stay at a reasonably priced, dog-friendly hotel within walking distance of Front Street, so we booked a Deluxe King room at this hotel through Hotels.com. At check-in, however, we learned that this particular room type did not accommodate pets. The staff were very friendly and patiently helped us switch to a pet-friendly Deluxe Double room. The room was very clean, and the hotel was well organized and beautifully maintained. It is set in a picturesque location, just a five-minute walk from the west end of Front Street. The breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed the hotel’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends."

"Parking was fine. Love the view. Breakfast was great and had a nice place to actually sit and eat and not feel rushed to leave. Was about half mile walking distance from the downtown."

"Quaint. Small room but comfortable and clean! Even facing the street, it was quiet. Water and ice convenient outside the door. Easy Walking to all the shops and restaurants and river walk. Sitting area in back facing the river is nice and was not used while we were there. Parking across the pedestrian street was convenient. You do have stairs but the staff offered to help with luggage! Very pleasant, comfortable bed and room, good price makes this a return on our next visit!"

The staff had the sauna ready for my wife and I when we got back from town. My wife and I will definitely stay her again for our anniversary."

"I have been visiting Leavenworth for over 20 years, and I will only stay at the Sleeping Lady Resort from here on out. The property was very well maintained and gave an isolated feel, despite it being so close to town. We brought 2 dogs and they were very welcoming to our pups. I was also blown away by how clean everything was! No dust on the floor trim, no cobwebs or dirt in the corners of the rooms, bathrooms, or in the common areas. We also felt very safe as it is well lit at night when we walked the dogs in the middle of the night. It is tucked away so nicely in the mountains that it felt like the perfect getaway. The only thing I didn't like was the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner they provided. Can't wait to go back again!"

"Conveniently located for walking to downtown Leavenworth and shops. We arrived 15 minutes after check-in and there was no one at the desk and no way to contact anybody that we were there. We sat and waited about 10 minutes before a girl came from the back and saw us there."
