「Stayed here for 2 nights in July with family.
Positives: Gorgeous setting. Swiss-like esthetics. Loved that you could walk to the trails and not worry about finding parking before beginning our hike(s). Ate at the lounge restaurant and it was very good. Also thrilled to have a coffee shop, snack shop available. If able to, go to dinner one night at the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn restaurant (just a couple minutes away driving) then walk down to Fishcap Lake (nicknamed Moose Lake). It’s about a...

「Apgar has a casual, almost campground feel to it that I really loved. The lake and the views were breathtaking. We had plenty of room to sleep all 5 of us—our only issue was 1 bathroom and little space to get ready for the day. There were a couple of days that were rather warm reaching 90 degree temps but mornings and evenings were cool enough that the room was okay for sleeping without AC.

「We love to visit NP lodges and Lake McDonald lodge did not disappoint. The staff from check-in to check-out were friendly, very helpful and always listening for ways to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We ate onsite at the Fireside Dining Room and Lucke's Lounge--food cooked to our request, service consistent, and prices reasonable considering location. The lobby is inviting with the beautiful lantern lights, the fireplace with etched stone and a variety of comfortable seating. And...
