We stayed at Pinewood Lodge for 7 days split over 2 weeks. The area was lovely , very quiet. There is a number of lodges , each having everything you need from a fridge to a microwave, fresh clean towels and bedding, breakfast croissants were provided which was a nice touch and also some milk- again lovely touch. The beds were fine - slightly uncomfortable, however, given the amount of people who sleep on them this i guess is a given at times. Heating was great, easy to increase or decrease to suite what you need. Would stay again if visiting the area.

Lovely stay

I stayed here to be closer to work- the room was very clean and so nice! The host had put some breakfast cereal, biscuits and milk in the room which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend!

Stay was OK, the owners were pleasant and welcoming and although the lodge is 'room only' they do provided a breakfast basket with water, fruit and cereal. The lodge was clean and sufficient for an overnight stay.

Always have a fantastic stay here really friendly owner, so accommodating for us and our dogs it’s our second year here and have already booked up for next year. We always stay for 2 nights for Crufts it’s a perfect location for us.

A wonderful walk-in lodge!

An out the way stay, with private self catering rooms and plenty of charm. The campsite and motel style accommodation strike both a contrast and a convenience in the Ibstock countryside, walkable to the High street and its single street of sufficiency; a recommended stay for long term commuters working away from home, single explorers interested in Ibstock and last minute walk-in lodgers. Internet is available in the reception but not the rooms (without extension). There is plenty of parking and both Angela and Roy are accommodating hosts for some fun banter in the bar!

Our two night stay at Pinewood Lodge.

My Wife & I arrived around 3.30 at Pinewood, we were immediately struck by the surrounding trees & the small lake. On entering our room, we found it spacious & comfortable & everything was clean & tidy. The facilities were more than adequate, with tea, coffee, milk & sugar! Electric kettle, microwave & small fridge. The room had en-suite which contained a nice shower cubicle, wash basin & toilet & towels were provided. The bed was comfortable & the heating via a large radiator proved more than adequate. My Wife & I would not hesitate to return to Pinewood. John & Katy Wright.
