By car to find the hotel is a problem. Google sends you in a different place. Parking is on an alley with a sign that is only for locals. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. In rest is ok. Clean, front desk and breakfast staff are friendly.

Great location next to the Union square. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast for 6 euro. Near the stops of the airport bus which costs less than 1 euro. Central but quiet location. Good value for the money, single room 60€/day. No bar or restaurant in the hotel but plenty nearby.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location downtown Iasi. It’s an old hotel so don’t expect too much. It was brutally hot and the AC didn’t work. I tried to call the front desk but the phone didn’t work. It was one of those experiences where you say “it is what it is”. The WiFi was good so that’s a major plus.

I thought 3☆ are going to be decent but the hotel is in a terrible condition, the wallpaper is peeling off, taps are rusty, very old dirtish furniture, odd smell, the carpet looked also dirty, you feel your skin itchy once you step in the room. The staff was nice though, and the bedsheets clean. Such a same, this hotel has great location.

First of all its pretty run down , small top to cover when you go to sleep- smaller then the actually bed. No hot water when you try to shower even was on the second floor. The faucet and other bathroom fixtures are rusty. Mold in the shower as well. Carpet dirty. Woke up with a banging and drilling, the website or at check in were not informing of any renovation. The lobby looks very shady no lighting and loud music.

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Par contre la première chambre proposée l’ eau de la douche était impossible de fermer le robinet, il a donc coulé toute la nuit. Et la seconde chambre qui nous a été proposé il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude et la moquette de l’entrée dans la chambre était toute mouillée

Nice stay in a perfect location.

Friendly staff, very quick to help a friend whose booking hadn't worked, and they also helped with an iron at very short notice. The room was nice and I didn't need anything more, although some things in the room were a bit old and broken and could do with renovation. Would definitely recommend the Astoria to anyone visiting Iasi.

Very nice hotel in a good location

Very good location. Friendly staff. Nice variety of continental buffet breakfast. Only downside was the toilet flush was broken but we didn't raise this at the hotel until checkout as we weren't there long enough for this to be a problem.

Seems ready to close down

Nice building, but not looked after, or even properly cleaned. About half the lights in communal areas have no bulbs, the bedding was not clean, towels were not replace when requested, taps dripping. The breakfast was big enough, but mostly recycled food from the previous day. Staff don't seem interested. It felt like the place was getting ready to close down.

Very disappointed!

Very disappointed! We received a 2* room even the hotel is classified as 3*. The 2* rooms are located at 05th floor. This information I received only at check out and only asking the Receptionist if it is correct that they have 2* rooms. Very old room, claustrophobic, not comfortable, the Tv was not functioning properly, the minibar wad empty (no water at least) and attention I was asked at the check out if I consumed smth from the mini bar. Shower cabin very small. AC not functioning. The lift was not functioning (the room was at 5th floor and having a luggage is not so pleasant to carry it by stairs). I stayed there before, but received a normal 3* room and I was quite satisfied with it. This time it was a disaster. Only the location of the hotel is good.
